Boustrophedon dedication · c. 565? BC · Athens, Akropolis · Epigraphical Museum, EM 6212+6225
The reading text is that of PHI 521 (epigraphy.packhum.org/text/521), which transmits the IG I³ 507 text; line division, brackets, interpuncts and diacritics stand as PHI prints them, and nothing has been silently altered. The translation is this edition’s own and is marked as such; the editorial work in text and restorations belongs to the editions cited under Witnesses.

Lemma · 题录
From the Athenian Akropolis; boustrophedon; c. 565? BC (PHI lemma). Earlier editions IG I² 463+475+; Raubitschek, DAA 326. The officials named made the dromos and are called “they who first held the contest for the grey-eyed Maiden” — the text standardly linked with the founding of the Panathenaic games; the date PHI prints, c. 565, sits at the traditional founding date. Two names are cut on the back (face B), one of them erased.

- 1–3 [⋮ ἐποίεσαν ⋮ ℎιεροπ]οιοὶ(?) κτλ. Supplements and the queries attached to them are those the PHI text transmits (after IG I³, drawing on DAA 326); the interpuncts ⋮ are on the stone. The letters ϙ (koppa) in ϙόρ[ει] and Ἀριστόδιϙος are the stone’s archaic spellings.
