An Athenian honors-decree (411 BCE) granting proxenia and euergesia to Pythophanes of —stus (the ethnic name is lost on the stone). The decree is unusually formal in not specifying the honorand's good services. The régime by which it was passed is contested: Harris assigns it to the 5,000 (the moderate oligarchy of late 411), Lenschau and de Ste. Croix to the Four Hundred.
