A bilingual workshop in EpiDoc encoding — the TEI/XML standard for digital epigraphy. The deck moves from EpiDoc's foundations and four-view philosophy, through two flagship case studies (the Cyrene Edicts of Augustus and the Aphrodisias archive wall), into a ten-text ladder of hand-encoded inscriptions ranging from a Latin funerary tag to a Greek elegiac quatrain. Every difficult tag is glossed in English and beginner-friendly simplified Chinese.
