Scope and controlling conclusion

This dossier compares the supplied 72-page raster capture attributed in its visible interface to Christopher Nolan with the 24-book Homeric Odyssey. The PDF itself contains no author metadata and cannot independently establish edition, authorization, or capture completeness. Its physical page order is not narrative order; the reconstruction follows the visually verified Kindle progress sequence.

The screenplay is a radical recomposition rather than a simple dramatization. It preserves a dense chain of recognizable Odyssey episodes—Telemachus and the suitors, Calypso, Polyphemus, Circe and Hades, Sirens/Scylla/Charybdis, the cattle, Ithacan disguise, Eumaeus, Argus, the scar, bow contest, slaughter, and recognition—but regularly compresses, relocates, reassigns speakers and agency, reverses event order, and adds a modern Bronze-Age-collapse frame. A scene anchor never licenses every screenplay line inside that scene.

What ‘complete’ means here

The exhaustive unit is the OCR-derived visual line: 4406 screenplay/direction lines across 72 source images. Every one has exactly one disposition in the concordance. The private ledger retains full OCR for checking; public tables contain locators and SHA-256 text fingerprints, not screenplay cues or transcript text.

The current candidate graph contains 789 possible positive edges. The panel explicitly accepted 475, rejected 314, and left 0 unresolved; 21 additional rejected keys are retained as regression tombstones after their regexes were tightened. Unadjudicated evidence lines are U, never silently promoted to A–D or demoted to N1/N2.

Disposition vocabulary: A specific verbal correspondence; B specific narrative/propositional correspondence; C contextual association; D non-exclusive theme; N1 no line-specific association inside an anchored scene; N2 no specific Odyssey anchor located; U unresolved because OCR is too weak for safe classification. N1/N2 are bounded research negatives, not metaphysical proof that no imaginable analogy exists.

Expert-panel synthesis

The panel combines six audit functions: Homeric philology/textual criticism, Homeric narratology, adaptation analysis, reception/mythography, digital provenance, and adversarial absence review. The panel is AI-assisted specialist-role review, not a claim of human peer review. Independent page-range audits were reconciled through the same pinned Greek edition, exact-locus requirement, and typed non-match contract.

A direct English reformulation of the poem's opening invocation; source dependence remains an interpretive conclusion, not a metadata fact.

AL002 — Trojan Horse contextual complex

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (27 edges). Control proposal: C (object/episode context); transformation: expanded composite. Greek target(s): 8.492-520. Context window(s): GW019.

The Odyssey narrates Demodocus' song of the horse and sack; this broad rule supplies context only, because most screenplay tactical details are expansions.

AL005 — Penelope rejects the bard's homecoming song

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (speech act); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 1.325-364. Context window(s): GW004.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P002-L-Y1373-X0835, NOL-P002-L-Y1424-X0351, NOL-P002-L-Y2056-X0835, NOL-P002-L-Y2106-X0351.

Penelope asks Phemius to stop; Telemachus' response is substantially transformed.

AL006 — Suitors consume Odysseus' household

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (6 edges). Control proposal: C (action/event); transformation: expanded. Greek target(s): 1.144-155, 1.245-251. Context window(s): GW003, GW004.

Screenplay evidence: 6 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P002-L-Y1965-X0351, NOL-P002-L-Y2247-X0351, NOL-P002-R-Y0550-X0053, NOL-P010-R-Y2254-X0054, NOL-P012-L-Y0453-X0351, NOL-P059-L-Y0955-X0269.

Household consumption is Homeric; individual insults, plots, and biographies require separate support.

AL007 — Athena's stranger-counsel to Telemachus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (proposition/speech act); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 1.279-302. Context window(s): GW004.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P004-L-Y1249-X0855, NOL-P004-L-Y1299-X0350.

The screenplay compresses Athena/Mentes' Pylos-and-Sparta itinerary and may anonymize or relocate the counsel. Bare stranger/visitor language is deliberately excluded.

AL008 — Penelope's shroud stratagem

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (3 edges), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 2.89-110. Context window(s): GW005.

Screenplay evidence: 4 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P008-R-Y0499-X0618, NOL-P008-R-Y0546-X0135, NOL-P008-R-Y0599-X0135, NOL-P038-L-Y1144-X0271, NOL-P038-R-Y0875-X0621, NOL-P038-R-Y0925-X0134, NOL-P040-L-Y0550-X0270.

The three-year weaving deception is explicit in Homer; a decree by Ithacan elders is not.

AL009 — Argus contextual complex

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (13 edges). Control proposal: C (character/object context); transformation: relocated or close. Greek target(s): 17.290-327. Context window(s): GW036.

Screenplay evidence: 13 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P004-R-Y0139-X0054, NOL-P004-R-Y0737-X0054, NOL-P004-R-Y1593-X0053, NOL-P005-L-Y1182-X0269, NOL-P005-L-Y1639-X0270, NOL-P005-L-Y2088-X0271, NOL-P008-L-Y1660-X0350, NOL-P059-R-Y1253-X0054, NOL-P059-R-Y1302-X0053, NOL-P059-R-Y1572-X0054, NOL-P059-R-Y1956-X0053, NOL-P059-R-Y2004-X0054, NOL-P059-R-Y2275-X0053, NOL-P060-L-Y0181-X0836, NOL-P060-L-Y0233-X0350, NOL-P060-L-Y0312-X0270, NOL-P060-L-Y0361-X0271.

This broad rule identifies Argus context only. Argus belongs to the beggar's return; early flashback use is relocation.

AL010 — Boar-scar story

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (5 edges). Control proposal: B (character/object/action); transformation: relocated or compressed. Greek target(s): 19.392-394, 19.429-466, 19.386-394, 19.438-466. Context window(s): GW041.

Screenplay evidence: 5 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P005-L-Y1991-X0271, NOL-P005-L-Y2040-X0271, NOL-P005-L-Y2088-X0271, NOL-P005-L-Y2149-X0270, NOL-P005-L-Y1639-X0270, NOL-P005-L-Y1866-X0270, NOL-P005-R-Y0865-X0134, NOL-P064-R-Y1579-X0054, NOL-P064-R-Y1627-X0054.

Homer locates the hunt on Parnassus with Autolycus' sons; other participants or locations are screenplay changes.

Panel locus refinements: PA5049 proposed 19.392-394,19.429-466 → accepted 19.386-394,19.438-466 (The washing leads directly to recognition of the boar scar at 19.386-394, while the hunt and wound are narrated at 19.438-466; the prior ranges included the naming genealogy and excluded the recognition setup.).

AL011 — Bow and axes contest foreshadowed or enacted

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (17 edges), C (2 edges). Control proposal: B (object/action); transformation: foreshadowed or close. Greek target(s): 21.393-423, 21.91-139, 21.120-137, 19.570-587, 21.68-79, 21.144-166, 21.144-187, 21.175-185, 21.140-187, 21.378-405, 21.393-405, 21.404-409, 21.410-413, 21.416-423. Context window(s): GW044, GW043, GW042.

Screenplay evidence: 19 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P010-L-Y1604-X0271, NOL-P010-L-Y1653-X0270, NOL-P010-L-Y1701-X0270, NOL-P010-L-Y1782-X0269, NOL-P010-L-Y1831-X0271, NOL-P010-L-Y0675-X0270, NOL-P010-L-Y0723-X0269, NOL-P010-L-Y0772-X0269, NOL-P010-L-Y0913-X0351, NOL-P010-L-Y1285-X0269, NOL-P010-L-Y1523-X0351, NOL-P066-R-Y1810-X0054, NOL-P066-R-Y1854-X0054, NOL-P066-R-Y1907-X0054, NOL-P066-R-Y2210-X0053, NOL-P066-R-Y2259-X0054, NOL-P067-L-Y1045-X0835, NOL-P067-L-Y1096-X0351, NOL-P067-L-Y1144-X0350, NOL-P067-L-Y1193-X0351, NOL-P067-L-Y1718-X0271, NOL-P067-L-Y1766-X0271, NOL-P067-L-Y1988-X0270, NOL-P067-L-Y2037-X0270, NOL-P067-R-Y0502-X0629, NOL-P067-R-Y0552-X0135, NOL-P067-R-Y0784-X0054, NOL-P067-R-Y0994-X0054, NOL-P067-R-Y1043-X0054, NOL-P069-L-Y1671-X0271, NOL-P069-L-Y1720-X0270, NOL-P069-L-Y1942-X0270, NOL-P069-R-Y0922-X0054, NOL-P069-R-Y0971-X0054, NOL-P069-R-Y1133-X0054, NOL-P069-R-Y1537-X0054, NOL-P069-R-Y1586-X0054.

The contest is Homeric; its earlier private rehearsal and some construction details are screenplay framing. Post-contest combat with axes is deliberately excluded.

Panel locus refinements: PA0006 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.393-423 (This segment depicts Odysseus's performance, so only the final bow-handling, stringing, sounding, and shot sequence at 21.393-423 applies; the rule's contest-introduction locus does not.); PA0007 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.393-423 (This segment depicts the culminating shot, so only Odysseus's final performance at 21.393-423 applies; the rule's contest-introduction locus does not.); PA1031 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.91-139 (AL011's rule-level targets span the contest introduction and Odysseus's final performance; this relocated rehearsal instead corresponds to Telemachus's setup and failed stringing sequence at 21.91-139.); PA1032 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.91-139 (AL011's rule-level targets span the contest introduction and Odysseus's final performance; this relocated rehearsal instead corresponds to the early contest premise and Telemachus's attempt at 21.91-139.); PA1033 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.91-139 (AL011's rule-level targets span the contest introduction and Odysseus's final performance; this relocated rehearsal instead corresponds to Telemachus's axe setup and bow attempt at 21.91-139.); PA1034 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.91-139 (AL011's rule-level targets span the contest introduction and Odysseus's final performance; this relocated rehearsal instead recalls the axe setup at 21.120-123 within 21.91-139.); PA5063 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.120-137 (The physical planting and alignment of the twelve axes occurs at 21.120-137; the former rule targets covered Penelope's announcement and Odysseus' later shot rather than this staging action.); PA5066 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.120-137 (The line inspects the already arranged axe course, corresponding to 21.120-137; the former generic trial targets pointed to announcement and completion instead.); PA5071 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 19.570-587,21.68-79 (Penelope first announces her intended bow-and-axes trial at 19.570-587 and formally presents it at 21.68-79; the former rule targets were too broad and wrongly included the later execution of the shot.); PA5079 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.144-166 (Leodes' first attempt and failure occupy 21.144-166; the former generic targets included Penelope's setup and Odysseus' later success.); PA5081 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.144-187 (Leodes' failure and the ensuing decision to warm the bow span 21.144-187; Peisander's attempt is not Homeric and cannot be assigned to the later Odysseus-success range.); PA5083 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.175-185 (The order to light a fire and grease the bow is specifically at 21.175-185; the former generic targets omitted this middle contest action.); PA5084 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.175-185 (Heating and rubbing the bow with fat are narrated at 21.175-185; the former rule-level targets pointed only to trial setup and Odysseus' final success.); PA5086 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.140-187 (The suitors' early failures and movement of the bow through the group occupy 21.140-187; the former generic targets covered different contest phases.); PA5091 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.378-405 (Eumaeus hands Odysseus the bow and Odysseus inspects it at 21.378-405; the former target also included the distant trial announcement and completed shot.); PA5092 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.393-405 (Odysseus' inspection and the suitors' derision are confined to 21.393-405; the former targets included both the opening trial and later string-and-shot actions not present here.); PA5097 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.404-409 (Odysseus' effortless stringing occupies 21.404-409; the former generic targets included the announcement and subsequent sounding and shot.); PA5098 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.410-413 (The plucked string's musical sound and immediate divine sign occur at 21.410-413; the former targets ranged across unrelated contest phases.); PA5099 proposed 21.1-45,21.393-423 → accepted 21.416-423 (Odysseus selects, aims, and sends the arrow through all axes at 21.416-423; the former generic target included earlier trial phases.).

AL012 — Remarriage when Telemachus is grown

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (proposition); transformation: speaker/context changed. Greek target(s): 18.257-270. Context window(s): GW038.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P042-L-Y1556-X0813, NOL-P042-L-Y1607-X0350.

Odysseus-in-disguise reports that Odysseus told Penelope to remarry once Telemachus was grown.

AL013 — Secret provisions for Telemachus' voyage

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 2.345-374, 2.404-434. Context window(s): GW006.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P012-L-Y1732-X0813, NOL-P012-L-Y1782-X0351, NOL-P012-L-Y1835-X0350.

Eurycleia supplies and conceals the departure; a generic provisions question elsewhere is deliberately excluded.

AL014 — Mentor and Athena equip the voyage

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (4 edges). Control proposal: C (character/action); transformation: compressed/composite. Greek target(s): 2.267-295, 2.382-414. Context window(s): GW006.

Screenplay evidence: 4 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P012-R-Y0189-X0134, NOL-P012-R-Y0752-X0054, NOL-P012-R-Y0846-X0634, NOL-P012-R-Y0893-X0134, NOL-P012-R-Y1186-X0053.

Athena uses Mentor's appearance; a wholly human trainer-biography is not established by these lines.

AL015 — Calypso detains Odysseus

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (29 edges). Control proposal: C (character/place/situation); transformation: expanded. Greek target(s): 5.180-210, 7.244-266, 12.420-450. Context window(s): GW015, GW017, GW028.

Detention and longing are Homeric; drugging, amnesia, and Athena's physical visits are separate transformations.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-00426 proposed 5.180-210,7.244-266 → accepted 7.244-266,12.420-450 (The retrospective Ogygia landfall combines Odysseus' account of Calypso's detention with the post-Thrinacia solitary drift and arrival; rule AL015's Book 5 release negotiation is not the operative locus here.); PA-MID-00427 proposed 5.180-210,7.244-266 → accepted 7.244-266,12.420-450 (The flashback beach setting belongs to the retrospective Ogygia-arrival complex and the solitary post-Thrinacia drift, not the Book 5 release negotiation.); PA-MID-00428 proposed 5.180-210,7.244-266 → accepted 7.244-266,12.420-450 (The wreckage-without-crew recollection combines the Ogygia detention account with Odysseus' solitary post-Thrinacia arrival; the Book 5 release negotiation is not evidenced.); PA-MID-00429 proposed 5.180-210,7.244-266 → accepted 7.244-266,12.420-450 (Calypso's discovery of the castaway belongs to the retrospective arrival complex and post-Thrinacia solitary drift, not the Book 5 release negotiation.); PA-MID-00430 proposed 5.180-210,7.244-266 → accepted 7.244-266,12.420-450 (The incapacitated castaway image belongs to the retrospective Ogygia-arrival complex and the post-Thrinacia loss sequence.); PA-MID-00432 proposed 5.180-210,7.244-266 → accepted 7.244-266,12.420-450 (Calypso tending the unconscious survivor is contextualized by the retrospective Ogygia account and solitary post-Thrinacia arrival, not by the release negotiation.); PA-MID-00433 proposed 5.180-210,7.244-266 → accepted 7.244-266,12.420-450 (Calypso's watching over the survivor belongs to the retrospective Ogygia-arrival complex and post-Thrinacia solitary drift; the Book 5 release negotiation is not evidenced.).

AL017 — Lotus and forgetting

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (8 edges). Control proposal: C (motif/action); transformation: composite/expanded. Greek target(s): 9.82-104. Context window(s): GW020.

Lotus-induced forgetting belongs to the Lotus-eaters, not Calypso's cave; the screenplay composites episodes.

AL018 — Cyclopes and Polyphemus introduced

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (30 edges). Control proposal: C (character/place); transformation: expanded. Greek target(s): 9.105-129. Context window(s): GW020.

Screenplay evidence: 30 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P017-L-Y2094-X0271, NOL-P017-L-Y2175-X0270, NOL-P017-R-Y0139-X0053, NOL-P017-R-Y0326-X0634, NOL-P017-R-Y0587-X0054, NOL-P017-R-Y1203-X0052, NOL-P017-R-Y1683-X0054, NOL-P018-L-Y0418-X0271, NOL-P018-L-Y0596-X0270, NOL-P018-L-Y0807-X0270, NOL-P018-L-Y1320-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0273-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y0402-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0823-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y1151-X0269, NOL-P019-L-Y1523-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y1662-X0850, NOL-P019-L-Y1794-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y2122-X0270, NOL-P019-R-Y0775-X0054, NOL-P019-R-Y0865-X0634, NOL-P019-R-Y1888-X0053, NOL-P019-R-Y2213-X0054, NOL-P021-L-Y0224-X0271, NOL-P021-L-Y0673-X0271, NOL-P021-L-Y0943-X0271, NOL-P021-L-Y1401-X0270, NOL-P021-L-Y1530-X0271, NOL-P021-L-Y1660-X0270, NOL-P021-L-Y1838-X0271.

A contextual anchor only; specific actions are assessed by narrower rules.

AL019 — Cyclops' cave, cheese, and waiting

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge), C (2 edges). Control proposal: B (action/object); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 9.216-230. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P016-R-Y0936-X0054, NOL-P016-R-Y1186-X0054, NOL-P016-R-Y1348-X0134.

The crew finds cheeses and livestock; Odysseus waits to obtain a guest-gift.

AL020 — Zeus/xenia norm in the Cyclops episode

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (speech act/theme); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 9.267-286. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P016-R-Y1942-X0620, NOL-P016-R-Y1992-X0135, NOL-P016-R-Y1852-X0134.

Accepted lines voice or anticipate Zeus's norm for strangers; the surrounding Homeric exchange has Odysseus invoke that norm and Polyphemus reject it.

AL021 — Polyphemus eats the companions

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 9.288-298. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P017-R-Y0139-X0053, NOL-P017-R-Y0187-X0054, NOL-P017-R-Y0236-X0054.

The violent consumption is specifically narrated in Homer; word boundaries prevent OCR substrings such as water/falling from becoming evidence.

AL022 — Odysseus cannot kill the Cyclops because of the door-stone

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (reasoning/action); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 9.299-305. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P017-R-Y1773-X0601, NOL-P017-R-Y1824-X0134.

Odysseus realizes no one could remove the blocking stone if he killed Polyphemus.

AL023 — Olive stake and blinding

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges), C (2 edges). Control proposal: B (object/action); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 9.319-339, 9.375-394. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 4 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P019-L-Y1151-X0269, NOL-P019-L-Y1196-X0269, NOL-P019-L-Y1248-X0269, NOL-P019-L-Y1297-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y1345-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y1394-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y1443-X0271, NOL-P018-L-Y2104-X0351, NOL-P018-L-Y2185-X0271, NOL-P018-R-Y0139-X0054.

The preparation and blinding are Homeric; omitted wine/Nobody elements remain omissions.

AL024 — Escape beneath the sheep

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 9.425-461. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P019-R-Y1840-X0054, NOL-P019-R-Y1888-X0053, NOL-P019-R-Y1937-X0054, NOL-P019-R-Y1986-X0053, NOL-P019-R-Y2034-X0053, NOL-P019-R-Y2083-X0054, NOL-P019-R-Y2164-X0054, NOL-P019-R-Y2213-X0054.

The escape beneath the flock is explicit in Homer; the ram token is word-bounded so scrambling cannot match.

AL025 — Cyclops' boulder attack after the identity taunt

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (speech act/action); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 9.473-505. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P021-L-Y1660-X0270, NOL-P021-L-Y1708-X0269, NOL-P021-L-Y1789-X0270.

Homer places the identity revelation before Polyphemus' rock attacks. Accepted evidence lines may anchor only the boulder action; they do not thereby prove that the same segment contains the taunt.

AL026 — Polyphemus' prayer to Poseidon

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (speech act); transformation: close paraphrase. Greek target(s): 9.526-542. Context window(s): GW021.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P019-R-Y0865-X0634, NOL-P019-R-Y0918-X0134, NOL-P019-R-Y0966-X0134.

Homer's full prayer requests a delayed, solitary, painful return. The screenplay evidence preserves the father/vengeance prayer but not necessarily every element of that curse, so the control ceiling is B.

AL027 — Elpenor's death and unburied ghost

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (3 edges). Control proposal: C (character/event); transformation: relocated. Greek target(s): 10.552-560, 11.51-83. Context window(s): GW025, GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P019-L-Y0548-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y0596-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0823-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y2203-X0271.

Homer's Elpenor falls from Circe's roof and requests burial; a death at the Cyclops or replacement by Sinon is not Homeric.

AL028 — Menelaus' Spartan palace and feast

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (10 edges). Control proposal: C (character/place/situation); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 4.1-70. Context window(s): GW009.

Screenplay evidence: 10 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P020-R-Y0425-X0054, NOL-P020-R-Y1339-X0054, NOL-P022-L-Y0641-X0830, NOL-P022-L-Y0692-X0351, NOL-P022-L-Y0772-X0271, NOL-P022-L-Y0994-X0270, NOL-P022-L-Y1085-X0831, NOL-P022-L-Y1135-X0351, NOL-P022-L-Y1306-X0830, NOL-P022-L-Y1357-X0350, NOL-P022-L-Y1405-X0351, NOL-P022-R-Y0582-X0053, NOL-P051-L-Y1801-X0270, NOL-P051-L-Y1886-X0270, NOL-P051-L-Y1935-X0271.

Arrival during a double wedding and Menelaus' hospitality are Homeric.

AL029 — Helen recognizes Telemachus

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (recognition/proposition); transformation: expanded. Greek target(s): 4.138-154. Context window(s): GW010.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P024-L-Y0597-X0866, NOL-P024-L-Y0647-X0351.

Helen identifies Telemachus by resemblance to Odysseus; facial-scarring details are not in this passage.

AL030 — Menelaus' report of Agamemnon's homecoming

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (6 edges), C (9 edges). Control proposal: B (character/event/report); transformation: composite. Greek target(s): 4.512-537, 11.409-434, 4.524-537, 11.441-456, 11.405-434, 3.263-275, 11.421-434. Context window(s): GW012, GW027, GW008.

The Odyssey supplies multiple mediated accounts; screenplay staging and Iphigenia motives are additions.

Panel locus refinements: PA0018 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 4.524-537,11.409-434 (This segment establishes only Clytemnestra's welcome and identity; the refined spans contain the relevant welcome/return and Hades murder-report context, not all of rule AL030's broader Book 4 range.); PA-MID-00211 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.409-434 (The visual welcome is only contextual setup for Agamemnon's Hades murder narrative and does not itself support the separate Book 4 report range.); PA-MID-00336 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.441-456 (Agamemnon's claim that Odysseus would avoid his snare functions as counsel/warning and belongs with 11.441-456, not the murder-report loci in rule AL030.); PA-MID-00338 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.405-434 (The staged palace greeting belongs only to the contextual span of Agamemnon's Hades murder account; it is not the separate Book 4 report.); PA-MID-00339 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.405-434 (The welcome by Agamemnon's wife is contextual to his Book 11 account and does not itself support the broader Book 4 report.); PA-MID-00340 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.405-434 (The removal of armor and preparation for bed are screenplay staging within the Book 11 murder context, not details supplied by AL030's full default targets.); PA-MID-00342 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.405-434 (Bathing and anointing are screenplay staging within Agamemnon's Hades account and are not supported across rule AL030's broader default target set.); PA-MID-00343 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.405-434 (The bedchamber is screenplay staging attached to the Book 11 murder account and does not warrant rule AL030's full default loci.); PA-MID-00344 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.405-434 (The sexualized bedchamber approach is an invented staging detail contextualized only by Agamemnon's Book 11 murder account.); PA-MID-00347 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 3.263-275,11.421-434 (The adultery proposition is supported by Nestor's Book 3 account and Agamemnon's Book 11 account; the default Book 4 Menelaus report is not the closest locus for this line.); PA-MID-00348 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 11.405-434 (The killing belongs to Agamemnon's Book 11 account, but the screenplay's explicit chin-stabbing mechanism has no support in the separate Book 4 report.); PA-MID-00349 proposed 4.512-537,11.409-434 → accepted 3.263-275,4.524-537,11.409-434 (The joint plot and murder report are distributed across Nestor's Book 3 account, Menelaus' refined Book 4 account, and Agamemnon's Book 11 account.).

This is a contextual Circe-episode rule. Transformation into swine is explicit; crow transformation and hostage mechanics are not.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-00304 proposed 10.210-243 → accepted 10.385-399 (This segment depicts restoration from animal form, whose specific Homeric locus is Circe's reversal at 10.385-399 rather than the initial transformation at 10.210-243.); PA-MID-00305 proposed 10.210-243 → accepted 10.385-399 (The command accompanies restoration from animal form, specifically located at 10.385-399 rather than the initial transformation range.); PA-MID-00306 proposed 10.210-243 → accepted 10.385-399 (Circe's continuing reversal action belongs to 10.385-399, not the rule's default initial-transformation locus.).

AL034 — Circe sends Odysseus to Hades

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (speech act/itinerary); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 10.488-515. Context window(s): GW025.

Circe directs the journey and supplies ritual instructions.

AL035 — Nekyia blood ritual

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (ritual action); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 11.20-50. Context window(s): GW026.

The pit, offerings, and blood access to the dead are Homeric.

AL036 — Tiresias' prophecy and cattle warning

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (prophecy); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 11.100-137, 12.260-280, 12.320-365, 12.374-419. Context window(s): GW026, GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P039-L-Y1161-X0849, NOL-P039-L-Y1211-X0350, NOL-P039-L-Y1260-X0350, NOL-P039-L-Y1310-X0351.

Tiresias warns against the cattle and predicts a late return; bare name mentions and Circe's detailed route instructions are not enough for this edge.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-00356 proposed 11.100-137 → accepted 11.100-137,12.260-280,12.320-365,12.374-419 (Tiresias supplies the core warning in Book 11, while the demanded landing, slaughter, and divine destruction are narrated in distinct Book 12 spans that the screenplay reassigns to him.).

AL037 — Sirens, Scylla, and Charybdis foretold

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (prophecy/itinerary); transformation: speaker-reassigned. Greek target(s): 12.37-54, 12.73-110. Context window(s): GW028.

Circe, not Tiresias, gives these detailed route warnings in the Odyssey.

AL038 — Penelope's maid Melantho

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (12 edges). Control proposal: C (character); transformation: expanded/reassigned. Greek target(s): 18.320-325. Context window(s): GW038.

Screenplay evidence: 12 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P038-R-Y0139-X0134, NOL-P038-R-Y1006-X0054, NOL-P038-R-Y1096-X0618, NOL-P038-R-Y1147-X0134, NOL-P038-R-Y1190-X0595, NOL-P038-R-Y1243-X0135, NOL-P038-R-Y1325-X0053, NOL-P040-R-Y0652-X0054, NOL-P040-R-Y0700-X0054, NOL-P040-R-Y0791-X0614, NOL-P040-R-Y0842-X0135, NOL-P062-R-Y0925-X0054, NOL-P062-R-Y0973-X0053, NOL-P062-R-Y1547-X0053, NOL-P062-R-Y1637-X0614, NOL-P062-R-Y1688-X0134, NOL-P062-R-Y1859-X0614, NOL-P062-R-Y1909-X0134, NOL-P064-L-Y0138-X0269, NOL-P064-L-Y0187-X0270, NOL-P064-L-Y0641-X0835, NOL-P064-L-Y0691-X0350.

Homer calls Melantho disloyal and associates her with Eurymachus, not Antinous.

AL039 — Suitor ambush against Telemachus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (plot/action); transformation: relocated/expanded. Greek target(s): 4.669-714, 15.27-42. Context window(s): GW013, GW033.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P052-R-Y1204-X0620, NOL-P052-R-Y1246-X0134, NOL-P052-R-Y1295-X0134.

The maritime ambush is Homeric; bandits and a Pylos temple assault are not.

AL040 — Sirens' song and preparations

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (6 edges), C (4 edges). Control proposal: B (speech/action); transformation: expanded. Greek target(s): 12.39-54, 12.158-200, 12.173-200. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 10 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P043-L-Y0592-X0849, NOL-P043-L-Y0643-X0351, NOL-P043-L-Y0692-X0351, NOL-P043-L-Y0782-X0836, NOL-P043-L-Y0833-X0351, NOL-P043-L-Y0913-X0271, NOL-P043-L-Y1085-X0836, NOL-P043-L-Y1135-X0351, NOL-P043-L-Y1667-X0837, NOL-P043-L-Y1717-X0351, NOL-P043-L-Y2300-X0836, NOL-P043-L-Y2351-X0351, NOL-P043-R-Y1297-X0054, NOL-P043-R-Y1345-X0054, NOL-P043-R-Y1394-X0054, NOL-P043-R-Y1442-X0053, NOL-P043-R-Y1921-X0606, NOL-P043-R-Y2020-X0136, NOL-P044-L-Y0138-X0269, NOL-P044-L-Y1738-X0270, NOL-P044-L-Y1787-X0270.

The warning, wax, binding, and passage are Homeric; the screenplay's exact song text is new.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-00396 proposed 12.39-54,12.158-200 → accepted 12.173-200 (This segment concerns an individual removing wax during the passage; only the crew's passage-management span is relevant, and Homer does not narrate Anchialus' action.).

AL041 — Scylla and Charybdis passage

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (4 edges), C (6 edges). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close/choice reassigned. Greek target(s): 12.201-225, 12.226-259, 12.73-110, 12.217-225, 12.245-259. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 10 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P044-R-Y0285-X0054, NOL-P044-R-Y0872-X0620, NOL-P044-R-Y0923-X0134, NOL-P044-R-Y2222-X0054, NOL-P044-R-Y2270-X0053, NOL-P045-L-Y0181-X0836, NOL-P045-L-Y0231-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0322-X0817, NOL-P045-L-Y0372-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0453-X0270, NOL-P045-L-Y0501-X0270, NOL-P045-L-Y0772-X0270, NOL-P045-R-Y1184-X0620, NOL-P045-R-Y1235-X0134, NOL-P046-L-Y0181-X0837, NOL-P046-L-Y0231-X0351, NOL-P046-L-Y0280-X0350, NOL-P044-R-Y1205-X0134.

Six companions are seized; the screenplay reassigns some decision-making to Eurylochus.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-00402 proposed 12.201-225,12.226-259 → accepted 12.73-110,12.217-225 (The choice to cross Charybdis is an anti-parallel to Circe's warning and Odysseus' actual steering choice, so only the warning/choice spans apply.); PA-MID-00403 proposed 12.201-225,12.226-259 → accepted 12.73-110 (Eurylochus' warning that Charybdis will destroy them corresponds specifically to Circe's description of the danger, not the later Scylla seizure.); PA-MID-00405 proposed 12.201-225,12.226-259 → accepted 12.73-110,12.217-225 (Eurylochus' visual comparison belongs to the warning-and-choice frame; it does not itself enact Scylla's seizure.); PA-MID-00407 proposed 12.201-225,12.226-259 → accepted 12.73-110,12.217-225,12.245-259 (Odysseus' defense combines Circe's comparative warning, his steering away from Charybdis, and the six-companion loss; all three precise spans are needed.).

AL042 — Cattle of the Sun: landing and taboo

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (4 edges), C (5 edges). Control proposal: B (object/taboo); transformation: compressed/misidentified. Greek target(s): 12.260-276, 12.260-280, 11.100-113, 12.267-276, 12.294-303, 12.320-323, 12.374-390. Context window(s): GW028, GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 9 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P046-L-Y0926-X0271, NOL-P046-L-Y1327-X0836, NOL-P046-L-Y1378-X0351, NOL-P046-R-Y0139-X0134, NOL-P046-R-Y0548-X0620, NOL-P046-R-Y0599-X0134, NOL-P046-R-Y0999-X0053, NOL-P046-R-Y1047-X0053, NOL-P046-R-Y2042-X0054, NOL-P047-L-Y0775-X0271, NOL-P047-L-Y1055-X0271, NOL-P047-L-Y1408-X0836, NOL-P047-L-Y1459-X0351.

They are Helios' cattle in Homer; calling them Apollo's is a screenplay-level identification error.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-00408 proposed 12.260-280 → accepted 12.260-276 (The slug line establishes only island approach; the refined span covers the sighting and identification of Helios' cattle without extending to later deliberation.); PA-MID-00410 proposed 12.260-280 → accepted 11.100-113,12.267-276 (The conditional death warning combines Tiresias' Book 11 prophecy with Circe's Book 12 cattle warning; the rule's default landing range alone is insufficient.); PA-MID-00412 proposed 12.260-280 → accepted 12.294-303 (The screenplay's oath belongs specifically to Odysseus making the crew swear not to harm the cattle at 12.294-303.); PA-MID-00419 proposed 12.260-280 → accepted 12.320-323,12.374-390 (The accusation concerns the slaughter while Odysseus was absent and his later discovery, not the initial island identification in rule AL042.).

AL043 — Cattle slaughter during starvation

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close/agency modified. Greek target(s): 12.339-351. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y0180-X0817, NOL-P048-L-Y0231-X0350.

Eurylochus persuades the starving crew while Odysseus sleeps.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-00420 proposed 12.320-365 → accepted 12.339-351 (The line states Eurylochus' preference for death at sea over starvation, whose exact locus is 12.339-351 rather than the whole slaughter sequence.).

AL044 — Storm destroys the last ship after the cattle

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (divine punishment/event); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 12.397-419. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y1133-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1181-X0269, NOL-P048-L-Y1230-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1278-X0270.

Zeus destroys the ship; Odysseus alone survives.

AL045 — Odysseus builds Calypso's raft

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (construction/action); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 5.228-261. Context window(s): GW015.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P050-R-Y0807-X0639, NOL-P050-R-Y0858-X0135.

Athena first appears disguised, reveals Ithaca, and plans the return.

Panel locus refinements: PA4937 proposed 13.291-328,13.329-371 → accepted 13.324-352 (Athena's disclosure of Ithaca and Odysseus' recognition are concentrated at 13.324-352; the former 13.291-371 range swept in the preceding disguised encounter and later planning.).

AL048 — Eumaeus receives the disguised Odysseus

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (7 edges). Control proposal: C (character/place/hospitality); transformation: expanded. Greek target(s): 14.1-47, 14.48-88. Context window(s): GW031.

Eumaeus' hospitality and loyalty are Homeric; blindness and combat biography are not.

AL051 — Odysseus reveals himself to Telemachus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (recognition/event); transformation: relocated. Greek target(s): 16.172-219. Context window(s): GW035.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P060-L-Y0814-X0813, NOL-P060-L-Y0864-X0865, NOL-P060-L-Y0913-X0350.

Homer locates the reunion in Eumaeus' hut; only explicit father-son disclosure or recognition qualifies.

AL054 — Antinous strikes the beggar with a stool

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: speaker/object varied. Greek target(s): 17.458-465. Context window(s): GW037.

Antinous throws a stool; other suitor abuse may be redistributed.

Panel locus refinements: PA5029 proposed 17.405-440,17.441-491 → accepted 17.458-465 (Antinous' stool throw and shoulder strike occur specifically at 17.458-465; the former two broad ranges included surrounding begging and rebuke scenes.).

AL056 — Odysseus' brooch and clothing token

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (object/recognition token); transformation: modified. Greek target(s): 19.215-235. Context window(s): GW040.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P064-R-Y0944-X0620, NOL-P064-R-Y0994-X0134.

Homer describes a gold brooch with a dog and fawn; an Athena-given pin or its later recognition function is not Homeric.

Panel locus refinements: PA5048 proposed 19.216-248 → accepted 19.215-235 (Penelope's clothing-token challenge and Odysseus' detailed brooch description run from 19.215 through 19.235; the former 19.216-248 target omitted the challenge and included the unrelated herald description.).

AL057 — Eurycleia recognizes the scar

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (3 edges). Control proposal: B (recognition/action); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 19.343-360, 19.353-392, 19.386-394, 19.467-475. Context window(s): GW041.

The washing and scar-recognition are explicit in Homer.

Panel locus refinements: PA5045 proposed 19.386-420,19.467-507 → accepted 19.343-360 (Odysseus' restriction to an old servant and Penelope's naming of Eurycleia occupy 19.343-360; the former scar-recognition ranges concern later actions not yet evidenced here.); PA5047 proposed 19.386-420,19.467-507 → accepted 19.353-392 (Eurycleia is named, approaches, prepares the basin, and begins washing at 19.353-392; the former target extended through the later recognition and its aftermath.); PA5050 proposed 19.386-420,19.467-507 → accepted 19.386-394,19.467-475 (The basin-to-scar recognition occurs at 19.386-394 and Eurycleia's physical reaction at 19.467-475; the former target included the long intervening wound tale and later secrecy exchange.).

AL058 — Removal of the hall's weapons

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (3 edges). Control proposal: B (plot/action); transformation: speaker-reassigned. Greek target(s): 19.1-52. Context window(s): GW039.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P066-L-Y1582-X0835, NOL-P066-L-Y1632-X0351, NOL-P066-L-Y1804-X0835, NOL-P066-L-Y1854-X0351, NOL-P066-L-Y1903-X0351, NOL-P066-L-Y1951-X0351, NOL-P066-R-Y1203-X0054.

Odysseus and Telemachus remove the arms; the screenplay may give planning agency to Penelope.

AL059 — Penelope announces the bow contest

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (speech act/plot); transformation: close with staging changes. Greek target(s): 21.120-137, 19.570-587, 21.68-79. Context window(s): GW043, GW042.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P066-R-Y1810-X0054, NOL-P066-R-Y1854-X0054, NOL-P066-R-Y1907-X0054, NOL-P067-L-Y1045-X0835, NOL-P067-L-Y1096-X0351, NOL-P067-L-Y1144-X0350, NOL-P067-L-Y1193-X0351.

Penelope announces the bow-and-axes test; Homer has twelve axes.

Panel locus refinements: PA5064 proposed 19.570-604,21.1-45 → accepted 21.120-137 (This segment evidences the axes being planted at 21.120-137, not Penelope's earlier announcement covered by the rule-level 19.570-604 and 21.1-45 targets.); PA5072 proposed 19.570-604,21.1-45 → accepted 19.570-587,21.68-79 (The operative announcements are confined to 19.570-587 and 21.68-79; the former 19.570-604 and 21.1-45 spans included the dream discussion and bow retrieval before the trial declaration.).

AL060 — Odysseus strings the bow and shoots through the axes

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 21.393-409, 21.416-423. Context window(s): GW044.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P069-L-Y2305-X0270, NOL-P069-L-Y2353-X0270, NOL-P069-R-Y1537-X0054, NOL-P069-R-Y1586-X0054.

The beggar alone strings the bow and sends the arrow through the axe sockets.

Panel locus refinements: PA5094 proposed 21.393-423 → accepted 21.393-409 (The evidence belongs to Odysseus' inspection and effortless stringing at 21.393-409, which the screenplay turns into feigned difficulty; 21.410-423 covers sounding and shooting not yet present.); PA5100 proposed 21.393-423 → accepted 21.416-423 (Only the arrow-through-axes culmination at 21.416-423 is evidenced; the rule-level 21.393-423 range also includes inspection, stringing, and sounding.).

AL061 — Antinous killed at the feast

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: inverted sequence. Greek target(s): 22.8-21. Context window(s): GW045.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P070-R-Y1496-X0054, NOL-P070-R-Y1544-X0054, NOL-P070-R-Y1593-X0054.

Homer makes Antinous the first suitor killed; the screenplay delays him. Statements by Antinous about someone else's killing do not qualify.

AL062 — Melanthius supplies the suitors with arms

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 22.135-146, 22.139-146, 22.161-186. Context window(s): GW046.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P068-L-Y1214-X0814, NOL-P068-L-Y1265-X0351, NOL-P068-L-Y2268-X0270.

Melanthius repeatedly fetches equipment before Eumaeus and Philoetius bind him.

Panel locus refinements: PA5104 proposed 22.142-170,22.171-199 → accepted 22.135-146 (Melanthius identifies the storeroom and first fetches arms at 22.135-146; the former targets began after his operative proposal and extended into his later capture.); PA5106 proposed 22.142-170,22.171-199 → accepted 22.139-146,22.161-186 (Melanthius first removes and delivers arms at 22.139-146 and returns for more at 22.161-186; the former paired ranges omitted the initial order and blurred delivery with capture.).

AL064 — Penelope tests and recognizes Odysseus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (recognition/test); transformation: compressed/substituted token. Greek target(s): 23.173-230. Context window(s): GW048.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P071-L-Y1600-X0835, NOL-P071-L-Y1651-X0351.

Homer's decisive test is the immovable olive-tree bed; a golden pin substitutes a non-Homeric token.

Panel locus refinements: PA0035 proposed 23.173-206 → accepted 23.173-230 (Penelope's test, recognition, and reunion unfold through 23.173-230; ending at 23.206 truncates her explicit acceptance and embrace, which this line compresses.).

AL065 — Post-return inland journey with an oar

Panel-accepted strength(s): D (1 edge). Control proposal: C (prophecy/itinerary); transformation: relocated and radically expanded. Greek target(s): 11.119-137. Context window(s): GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P070-R-Y1045-X0620, NOL-P070-R-Y1096-X0572, NOL-P070-R-Y1144-X0134.

Tiresias foretells a later inland journey, not immediate exile by sea; the Odyssey ends before its execution.

AL067 — Post-Troy coastal plunder: Cicones/Ismarus analogue

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: expanded/reframed. Greek target(s): 9.39-61. Context window(s): GW020.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P015-R-Y0610-X0054, NOL-P015-R-Y0659-X0054.

The raid and counterattack framework is Homeric; the screenplay does not name Ismarus, and its evacuated villagers, interpreter, and Sea-Peoples framing are not supplied by the passage.

AL068 — Gods may appear as disguised strangers

Panel-accepted strength(s): A (3 edges). Control proposal: A (proposition); transformation: speaker-reassigned. Greek target(s): 17.483-487, 17.482-487. Context window(s): GW037.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P003-R-Y0560-X0596, NOL-P003-R-Y0610-X0134, NOL-P003-R-Y0659-X0135, NOL-P061-R-Y2294-X0620, NOL-P061-R-Y2344-X0134, NOL-P062-L-Y0229-X0837, NOL-P062-L-Y0280-X0350.

The screenplay closely restates the proposition that gods travel in strangers' guise to inspect human conduct.

Panel locus refinements: PA5031 proposed 17.483-487 → accepted 17.482-487 (The complete divine-disguise proposition begins with Odysseus' warning at 17.482 and runs through 17.487; the rule's 17.483 start omitted the speech-act frame.); PA5032 proposed 17.483-487 → accepted 17.482-487 (The relevant divine-disguise proposition begins at 17.482 and continues through 17.487; the former target started one line after its framing warning.).

AL069 — No one can know his own father

Panel-accepted strength(s): A (1 edge). Control proposal: A (proposition); transformation: speaker retained; addressee/context changed. Greek target(s): 1.213-220. Context window(s): GW004.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P003-L-Y1410-X0813, NOL-P003-L-Y1461-X0351, NOL-P003-L-Y1510-X0350.

This closely reformulates Telemachus' statement that his mother names his father but no person recognizes his own begetting.

AL070 — Companions perish through their own recklessness

Panel-accepted strength(s): D (1 edge). Control proposal: A (proposition); transformation: Athena dialogue added. Greek target(s): 1.6-9. Context window(s): GW001.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y0180-X0817, NOL-P048-L-Y0231-X0350.

The proposition closely echoes the proem's claim that the companions died through their own recklessness; Athena's Thrinacian appearance is new.

AL071 — Agamemnon counsels a secret return

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: A (speech act/advice); transformation: modernized. Greek target(s): 11.441-456, 13.397-440. Context window(s): GW027, GW030.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P037-R-Y1638-X0590, NOL-P037-R-Y1681-X0135, NOL-P037-R-Y1729-X0134.

Agamemnon explicitly counsels concealed rather than open return; the screenplay modernizes it as tactical reconnaissance.

Panel locus refinements: PA0022 proposed 11.441-456 → accepted 11.441-456,13.397-440 (The screenplay combines Agamemnon's warning about wives and guarded disclosure in Book 11 with Athena's concrete disguise-and-reconnaissance plan in Book 13.).

AL072 — Eurylochus prefers drowning to starvation

Panel-accepted strength(s): A (1 edge). Control proposal: A (proposition/speech act); transformation: close paraphrase. Greek target(s): 12.339-351. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y0180-X0817, NOL-P048-L-Y0231-X0350.

This closely tracks Eurylochus' argument that starvation is the most pitiful death and a single death in the wave is preferable.

AL073 — Bardic recomposition of the invocation

Panel-accepted strength(s): D (1 edge). Control proposal: D (structural/thematic); transformation: serial expansion. Greek target(s): 1.1-10. Context window(s): GW001.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P059-L-Y0403-X0877, NOL-P059-L-Y0453-X0875, NOL-P059-L-Y0502-X0350.

The segmented face/fleet/war/man/thought/trick refrain recomposes epic-invocation language; only the later direct Muse address to the man reaches an A-level match.

AL074 — Argus recognizes Odysseus and dies

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (3 edges). Control proposal: B (recognition/action); transformation: close adaptation. Greek target(s): 17.290-327. Context window(s): GW036.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P059-R-Y1956-X0053, NOL-P059-R-Y2004-X0054, NOL-P059-R-Y2275-X0053, NOL-P060-L-Y0312-X0270, NOL-P060-L-Y0361-X0271.

Voice/scent recognition, tail movement, and immediate death closely rework Argus' return scene.

AL075 — Horse admitted and warriors emerge

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: expanded. Greek target(s): 8.492-520. Context window(s): GW019.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P023-R-Y0469-X0053, NOL-P023-R-Y0518-X0054, NOL-P023-L-Y2007-X0271, NOL-P023-R-Y1588-X0055.

Admitting the filled horse and the warriors' emergence are Odyssey-specific narrative anchors. At 8.507 the Trojans deliberate splitting it with bronze; screenplay probing turns that proposed act into enacted testing. Engineering, signaling, and named casualties remain departures.

AL076 — Leucothea's storm-survival instruction reassigned

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (speech act/action); transformation: speaker-reassigned. Greek target(s): 5.339-350, 5.355-364. Context window(s): GW016.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P050-L-Y0964-X0853, NOL-P050-L-Y1015-X0874, NOL-P050-L-Y1064-X0352, NOL-P050-L-Y1116-X0351.

Ino/Leucothea, not Calypso, tells Odysseus to abandon the raft and swim; the screenplay reframes active survival as surrender.

Panel locus refinements: PA0028 proposed 5.333-350 → accepted 5.339-350,5.355-364 (The former 5.333-350 rule range captured Leucothea's instruction but omitted Odysseus' immediately following deliberation and surrender to the sea at 5.355-364, which the screenplay speech also recomposes.).

AL077 — Telemachus departs Sparta

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: C (itinerary/hospitality); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 15.92-123, 15.195-223. Context window(s): GW033, GW034.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P051-L-Y2026-X0813, NOL-P051-L-Y2076-X0351.

AL079 — Eumaeus' Zeus-grounded hospitality

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: A (proposition/hospitality); transformation: close paraphrase. Greek target(s): 14.56-59. Context window(s): GW031.

Eumaeus says that strangers and beggars are from Zeus and may not be dishonored.

Panel locus refinements: PA0029 proposed 14.48-68 → accepted 14.56-59 (The hospitality proposition that strangers and beggars are under Zeus occurs specifically at 14.56-59; the former 14.48-68 span included surrounding hut reception actions not stated by this line.); PA4954 proposed 14.48-68 → accepted 14.56-59 (The Zeus-grounded stranger proposition is at 14.56-59; the former 14.48-68 range included actions and food preparation beyond this evidence.).

AL080 — Eumaeus rejects fabricated return-news

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (reported speech/test); transformation: close paraphrase. Greek target(s): 14.122-132, 14.378-389. Context window(s): GW031, GW032.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P052-L-Y1608-X0837, NOL-P052-L-Y1652-X0351.

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (4 edges), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: close with added contestants. Greek target(s): 21.144-187, 21.175-185. Context window(s): GW043.

Leodes is first to try; the suitors warm and grease the bow. Later contestant ordering is partly new.

Panel locus refinements: PA0032 proposed 21.144-187 → accepted 21.175-185 (The warming, greasing, and fire order is confined to 21.175-185; the former 21.144-187 rule range also included Leodes' attempt and Antinous' response.).

AL082 — Penelope summons the disguised stranger

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (plot/dialogue); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 17.507-511, 17.528-550, 19.89-99. Context window(s): GW037, GW039.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P062-R-Y1637-X0614, NOL-P062-R-Y1688-X0134.

Penelope summons and later interviews the stranger; Sinon and wooden-lot threats are not part of Homeric recognition.

Panel locus refinements: PA5040 proposed 17.505-550,19.53-99 → accepted 17.507-511,17.528-550,19.89-99 (The summons is distributed across Penelope's inquiry and commands at 17.507-511 and 17.528-550 and the renewed interview request at 19.89-99; the former ranges were broader and began before the operative speech acts.).

AL083 — Leodes pleads and is killed

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (character/action); transformation: inverted. Greek target(s): 22.310-329. Context window(s): GW047.

Homer's Leodes kneels and pleads before beheading; the screenplay makes him attack and die by an arrow used as a stabbing weapon.

AL084 — Menelaus praises Odysseus above the fallen heroes

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (named comparison/proposition); transformation: speaker reassigned from Nestor to Menelaus; phrasing modernized. Greek target(s): 3.103-123. Context window(s): GW007.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P022-R-Y0722-X0614, NOL-P022-R-Y0772-X0134, NOL-P022-R-Y0821-X0134, NOL-P022-R-Y0992-X0614, NOL-P022-R-Y1043-X0134.

Odyssey 3 names the dead Ajax, Patroclus, and Achilles and says Odysseus surpassed all in craft; the screenplay relocates Nestor's report to Menelaus.

AL085 — Odysseus restrains a companion inside the Horse

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (distinctive action/event); transformation: companion and stimulus changed. Greek target(s): 4.284-288. Context window(s): GW011.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P023-R-Y0749-X0054, NOL-P023-R-Y0798-X0054, NOL-P023-R-Y0846-X0054, NOL-P023-R-Y0895-X0053.

Proteus reports that Calypso holds Odysseus by force; the screenplay presents imprisonment as one rumour among several.

AL087 — Seven years detained by Calypso

Panel-accepted strength(s): A (1 edge). Control proposal: A (specific duration/proposition); transformation: close statement within a composite lotus scene. Greek target(s): 7.259-266. Context window(s): GW017.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P049-L-Y2275-X0849, NOL-P049-L-Y2328-X0351.

The seven-year duration is explicit in Odysseus' retrospective account; lotus administration remains a separate departure.

AL088 — Crew attributes their wandering to Poseidon's anger

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (causal proposition); transformation: crew diagnosis and cause compressed. Greek target(s): 1.68-75, 9.526-535, 11.100-103. Context window(s): GW002, GW021, GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P026-L-Y1898-X0836, NOL-P026-L-Y1949-X0351.

Poseidon's hostility is Homeric and grounded in Polyphemus' prayer; the screenplay relocates it into a crew diagnosis and suppresses the specific cause in the exchange.

AL089 — Antinous physically assaults the disguised Odysseus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (actor/action event); transformation: stool blow changed to kick. Greek target(s): 17.458-465. Context window(s): GW037.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P062-R-Y0270-X0053.

AL200 — Telemachus resembles Odysseus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (recognition/proposition); transformation: speaker and encounter compressed. Greek target(s): 4.138-154. Context window(s): GW010.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P024-L-Y0819-X0830, NOL-P024-L-Y0869-X0350.

Menelaus recognizes Telemachus' resemblance to Odysseus; this rule does not infer identity from generic likeness language outside the bounded scene.

AL201 — Laestrygonian daughter recast as child-faced monster

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (10 edges). Control proposal: C (character/encounter analogue); transformation: age, appearance, and action radically recast. Greek target(s): 10.105-120. Context window(s): GW022.

Screenplay evidence: 10 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P026-R-Y1077-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y1239-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y1764-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y1855-X0620, NOL-P026-R-Y1905-X0135, NOL-P026-R-Y1986-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y2076-X0601, NOL-P026-R-Y2127-X0134, NOL-P026-R-Y2208-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y2298-X0600, NOL-P026-R-Y2349-X0134, NOL-P027-L-Y0139-X0270, NOL-P027-L-Y0219-X0271, NOL-P027-L-Y0268-X0269.

Odyssey 10.105-106 explicitly has Antiphates' daughter; the screenplay transforms her into an armored child-faced monster. This is not an absence claim.

AL202 — Circe's tame lions and wolves

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (distinctive animals/action); transformation: setting expanded. Greek target(s): 10.210-219. Context window(s): GW023.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P028-R-Y0451-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y0504-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y0552-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y0601-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y0650-X0053, NOL-P028-R-Y0698-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y0747-X0054.

Circe's enchanted wolves and lions behave tamely around the visitors; ruins and other species remain screenplay staging.

AL203 — Circe restores the transformed men

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: magic mechanics expanded. Greek target(s): 10.385-399. Context window(s): GW024.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P033-R-Y0139-X0053.

Homer narrates restoration from swine to men; tactile rubbing and disguise language are screenplay elaborations. The narrow predicate avoids duplicating already adjudicated AL032 reversal blocks.

AL204 — Circe directs Odysseus to Tiresias in Hades

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (speech act/itinerary); transformation: Hades terminology modernized. Greek target(s): 10.488-507. Context window(s): GW025.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P035-L-Y0512-X0874, NOL-P035-L-Y0562-X0351, NOL-P035-L-Y1015-X0836, NOL-P035-L-Y1066-X0351.

Circe directs consultation of Tiresias among the dead; the screenplay compresses the instructions.

AL205 — Underworld river confluence transformed into fire and ice

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: C (place/route analogue); transformation: mythic rivers naturalized as volcanic and glacial spectacle. Greek target(s): 10.508-515. Context window(s): GW025.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P035-L-Y1998-X0874, NOL-P035-L-Y2048-X0352.

Homer names the underworld rivers and their confluence; literal lava and glacier imagery is not supplied by the passage. The narrow positive predicate does not promote every added volcanic image.

AL206 — Nekyia trench, ram, ewe, and blood rite

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (3 edges). Control proposal: B (ritual action); transformation: compressed visualization. Greek target(s): 10.516-540, 11.20-50. Context window(s): GW025, GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P035-R-Y0278-X0661, NOL-P035-R-Y0377-X0136, NOL-P035-R-Y0458-X0054, NOL-P035-R-Y0728-X0054, NOL-P035-R-Y0777-X0054, NOL-P035-R-Y0826-X0054.

Circe prescribes and Odysseus performs the trench-and-blood rite; screenplay fire and terrain details are additions. Mere transport of the animals is not auto-promoted.

AL207 — Tiresias reveals the homeward route

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (speech act/purpose); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 11.90-137. Context window(s): GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P035-R-Y1067-X0657, NOL-P035-R-Y1117-X0133.

The purpose of consulting Tiresias is to learn the homeward course and its conditions.

AL208 — Only Odysseus is destined to return home

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (prophecy/proposition); transformation: divine agency generalized. Greek target(s): 1.5-9, 11.104-114. Context window(s): GW001, GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P035-R-Y1873-X0657, NOL-P035-R-Y1923-X0135, NOL-P035-R-Y1972-X0135.

The proem and Tiresias' prophecy support Odysseus' solitary return; the screenplay's surrounding dialogue is new.

AL209 — Shades approach blood while Odysseus guards it with sword

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (ritual action/event); transformation: visual expansion. Greek target(s): 11.36-50. Context window(s): GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P034-L-Y0139-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y0187-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y0236-X0270, NOL-P034-L-Y0284-X0270, NOL-P034-L-Y0365-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y0414-X0271.

Odysseus controls access to the blood with his sword as the shades gather; emergence from the ground is screenplay visualization.

AL210 — Blood access enables Tiresias and the screenplay shades to speak

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges), C (2 edges). Control proposal: B (ritual blood-access/action); transformation: compressed; access extended to inserted Sinon. Greek target(s): 11.90-99. Context window(s): GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 4 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P034-L-Y0916-X0803, NOL-P034-L-Y0966-X0876, NOL-P034-L-Y1015-X0351, NOL-P034-L-Y1096-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y1144-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y1235-X0849, NOL-P034-L-Y1285-X0351, NOL-P034-L-Y1366-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y1415-X0270.

Tiresias drinks the sacrificial blood before prophesying. The screenplay extends the same access mechanism to non-Homeric Sinon; those wrong-actor blocks warrant C only.

AL211 — Elpenor's burial appeal inverted through Sinon

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: C (speech-act analogue); transformation: speaker substituted and request inverted. Greek target(s): 11.51-83. Context window(s): GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P036-R-Y1016-X0650, NOL-P036-R-Y1066-X0134, NOL-P036-R-Y1114-X0134.

Elpenor asks for burial because he is unburied; the screenplay makes Sinon thank Odysseus for burial and invoke others. Sinon remains absent from the Odyssey.

AL212 — Tiresias' inland-oar instruction reassigned and inverted

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: C (itinerary/speech-act analogue); transformation: speaker substituted; inland travel changed to seaborne westward voyage. Greek target(s): 11.121-137. Context window(s): GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P036-R-Y1346-X0650, NOL-P036-R-Y1396-X0135, NOL-P036-R-Y1445-X0134.

The screenplay retains a post-home journey and sacrifice motif but reverses its direction and medium and assigns it to Sinon.

AL213 — Agamemnon's shade drinks and questions Odysseus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (4 edges), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (character/action/dialogue); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 11.387-405. Context window(s): GW027.

Screenplay evidence: 5 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P037-L-Y0312-X0269, NOL-P037-L-Y0360-X0271, NOL-P037-L-Y0459-X0806, NOL-P037-L-Y0502-X0351, NOL-P037-L-Y0592-X0837, NOL-P037-L-Y0645-X0351, NOL-P037-L-Y0742-X0807, NOL-P037-L-Y0784-X0351, NOL-P037-L-Y0874-X0837, NOL-P037-L-Y0925-X0351.

Agamemnon approaches, recognizes Odysseus after blood access, and is questioned; screenplay phrasing is modernized.

AL214 — Agamemnon asks about Orestes

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (question/proposition); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 11.457-461. Context window(s): GW027.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P037-R-Y1356-X0590, NOL-P037-R-Y1399-X0134.

Agamemnon asks for news of Orestes; the screenplay narrows the question to vengeance.

AL215 — Sirens warning and wax countermeasure

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (warning/action plan); transformation: speaker reassigned from Circe to Tiresias. Greek target(s): 12.39-54, 12.154-179. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P039-L-Y0451-X0849, NOL-P039-L-Y0501-X0351, NOL-P039-L-Y0550-X0351, NOL-P039-L-Y0641-X0837, NOL-P039-L-Y0691-X0351.

The Sirens' danger, wax, and ear-blocking are Homeric; universal death language is screenplay compression.

AL216 — Companions endangered by their own conduct

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: C (proposition/thematic echo); transformation: prophetic dialogue added. Greek target(s): 1.6-9. Context window(s): GW001.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P039-L-Y1904-X0849, NOL-P039-L-Y1953-X0351.

The line echoes the proem's allocation of blame to the companions but is not a close verbal match in context.

AL217 — Unburied companions and Elpenor among the shades

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge), C (2 edges). Control proposal: B (character/state analogue); transformation: single unburied Elpenor pluralized; Sinon added. Greek target(s): 11.51-83. Context window(s): GW026.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P039-R-Y0139-X0134, NOL-P039-R-Y0441-X0054, NOL-P039-R-Y0490-X0053, NOL-P039-R-Y0538-X0053, NOL-P039-R-Y0587-X0054, NOL-P039-R-Y0892-X0639, NOL-P039-R-Y0934-X0134.

Elpenor is explicitly unburied in Homer; the screenplay pluralizes the grievance and also names non-Homeric Sinon. Explicit naming can support B, while pluralized crew context remains C.

AL218 — Penelope ordered to finish the weaving

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (speech act/object); transformation: suitor confrontation invented. Greek target(s): 2.89-110. Context window(s): GW005.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P040-L-Y0641-X0837, NOL-P040-L-Y0691-X0351, NOL-P040-L-Y0740-X0351.

The line directly invokes completion of the weaving stratagem, while Antinous' private bargain is not Homeric.

AL219 — Suitors discover Telemachus' journey and plan an ambush

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (3 edges), C (4 edges). Control proposal: B (plot/proposition); transformation: maritime ambush relocated to roads and temple. Greek target(s): 4.625-674, 4.842-847, 15.28-42. Context window(s): GW013, GW014, GW033.

Screenplay evidence: 7 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P040-R-Y1164-X0621, NOL-P040-R-Y1204-X0134, NOL-P040-R-Y1767-X0621, NOL-P040-R-Y1817-X0135, NOL-P041-L-Y2030-X0837, NOL-P041-L-Y2081-X0351, NOL-P041-L-Y2129-X0350, NOL-P041-R-Y0140-X0621, NOL-P041-R-Y0190-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y0583-X0664, NOL-P041-R-Y0633-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y0682-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y0731-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y0902-X0621, NOL-P041-R-Y0953-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y1001-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y1203-X0621, NOL-P041-R-Y1283-X0135.

The suitors learn of the journey and plot interception; the screenplay's Pylos-road and temple mechanics are separate departures.

AL220 — Argus lies neglected on dung

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (character/place/state); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 17.290-327. Context window(s): GW036.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P041-L-Y1036-X0270.

Argus' neglected condition on dung is explicit in Homer; later recognition/death requires its own evidence.

AL221 — Menelaus reports Agamemnon murdered by wife and lover

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (reported event); transformation: multiple Odyssey reports compressed. Greek target(s): 4.512-537, 11.405-434. Context window(s): GW012, GW027.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P042-L-Y0451-X0830, NOL-P042-L-Y0502-X0351, NOL-P042-L-Y0550-X0351.

The screenplay accurately reports the wife-and-lover murder complex but compresses its mediated tellings.

AL222 — Orestes' revenge for Agamemnon

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (exemplum/event); transformation: matricide made explicit. Greek target(s): 3.306-310, 1.298-300. Context window(s): GW008, GW004.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P042-L-Y0782-X0830, NOL-P042-L-Y0832-X0351, NOL-P042-L-Y1193-X0830, NOL-P042-L-Y1244-X0351.

The Odyssey presents Orestes as avenger and explicitly says he killed Aegisthus; it does not bluntly narrate killing Clytemnestra, which remains a departure.

Panel locus refinements: PA-MID-RED-00052 proposed 1.298-300,3.306-310 → accepted 3.306-310 (This segment states that Orestes killed both Clytemnestra and Aegisthus; only 3.306-310 explicitly supplies Orestes' killing of Aegisthus, while 1.298-300 supplies the avenger exemplum without this detail.).

AL223 — Agamemnon warns Odysseus about marital comparison

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (speech act/comparison); transformation: reassurance substituted for warning. Greek target(s): 11.441-446. Context window(s): GW027.

AL224 — Raft assembled from Calypso's island timber

The island, bound Odysseus' reaction, passage, and release are Homeric; the screenplay's individualized song content is not.

AL227 — Charybdis route choice inverted

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge), C (2 edges). Control proposal: B (choice/anti-parallel); transformation: Odysseus initially chooses Charybdis; Eurylochus reverses him. Greek target(s): 12.73-110, 12.217-225. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P045-L-Y0181-X0836, NOL-P045-L-Y0231-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0592-X0837, NOL-P045-L-Y0643-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0691-X0350, NOL-P045-L-Y0863-X0817, NOL-P045-L-Y0914-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0961-X0800, NOL-P045-L-Y1010-X0351.

Homeric warning and passage favor the Scylla channel over Charybdis. The reassigned corrective choice can support B; Odysseus' opposite order remains C-level anti-parallel.

AL228 — Scylla takes six companions

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (3 edges), C (4 edges). Control proposal: B (action/count event); transformation: horror staging expanded. Greek target(s): 12.245-259. Context window(s): GW028.

Tiresias predicts destruction if the cattle are harmed; the screenplay removes the condition in this exchange.

AL231 — Landing among Helios' cattle after the crew's oath

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 12.294-307. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P046-R-Y0680-X0054, NOL-P046-R-Y0728-X0054.

They land near the cattle after Odysseus exacts the oath; Helios must not be silently renamed Apollo. The oath line remains controlled by the pre-existing AL042 edge.

AL232 — Contrary wind and starvation on Thrinacia

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (4 edges), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (duration/privation event); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 12.325-351. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 5 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P046-R-Y1327-X0625, NOL-P046-R-Y1377-X0658, NOL-P046-R-Y1426-X0136, NOL-P046-R-Y1796-X0620, NOL-P046-R-Y1847-X0135, NOL-P046-R-Y1896-X0135, NOL-P046-R-Y2127-X0054, NOL-P046-R-Y2175-X0053, NOL-P047-L-Y0139-X0350, NOL-P047-R-Y1968-X0600, NOL-P047-R-Y2018-X0659, NOL-P047-R-Y2066-X0135.

A prolonged adverse wind exhausts provisions and drives Eurylochus' starvation argument.

AL233 — Crew feast on the slaughtered cattle

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/event); transformation: Odysseus made an eyewitness. Greek target(s): 12.339-365. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P047-L-Y1140-X0271, NOL-P047-L-Y1188-X0271.

The crew slaughter and feast are Homeric, but Odysseus sleeps elsewhere rather than silently watching them eat.

AL234 — Tiresias and Circe warnings recalled together

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (warning/report); transformation: Athena dialogue added. Greek target(s): 11.100-113, 12.267-276. Context window(s): GW026, GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P047-R-Y0229-X0639, NOL-P047-R-Y0280-X0135.

Both Tiresias and Circe warn about the cattle; Athena's physical reminder on Thrinacia is not Homeric.

AL235 — Crew culpability contrasted with Odysseus' failure

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (1 edge). Control proposal: C (proposition/thematic echo); transformation: Athena exculpation added. Greek target(s): 1.6-9. Context window(s): GW001.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P047-R-Y1145-X0638, NOL-P047-R-Y1195-X0134.

The proem blames the companions' recklessness, but the screenplay's categorical exculpation of Odysseus is an interpretive expansion.

AL236 — Crew leaves Thrinacia when the sea calms

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (departure/action); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 12.397-404. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y0615-X0271, NOL-P048-L-Y0664-X0271.

The survivors put to sea when conditions permit; screenplay moonlight and launch staging are incidental.

AL237 — Storm breaks the mast

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (storm/object event); transformation: victim reassigned. Greek target(s): 12.409-414. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y1690-X0271, NOL-P048-L-Y1738-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1787-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1835-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1884-X0269.

Homer's storm breaks the mast and its tackle kills the helmsman; the screenplay makes the falling mast strike Eurylochus.

AL238 — Zeus' lightning destroys the ship and crew

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (divine punishment/event); transformation: compressed visualization. Greek target(s): 12.415-425. Context window(s): GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y2245-X0842, NOL-P048-L-Y2295-X0874, NOL-P048-L-Y2340-X0353, NOL-P048-R-Y0139-X0054, NOL-P048-R-Y0220-X0054, NOL-P048-R-Y0268-X0054.

Zeus' bolt destroys the ship and throws the crew into the sea; exact breakup imagery is screenplay staging.

AL239 — Odysseus alone reaches Calypso's shore after Thrinacia

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge), C (1 edge). Control proposal: B (itinerary/state event); transformation: drift and landing compressed. Greek target(s): 7.244-266, 12.447-450. Context window(s): GW017, GW028.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P048-R-Y0953-X0620, NOL-P048-R-Y1004-X0134, NOL-P048-R-Y1375-X0054.

The retrospective Calypso account and Book 12 ending support solitary arrival; the screenplay compresses intermediate drift.

AL100 — Wooden Horse trick that brings about Troy's fall

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (proposition/event); transformation: compressed bardic paraphrase. Greek target(s): 8.492-495. Context window(s): GW019.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P001-R-Y0581-X0658, NOL-P001-R-Y0631-X0659, NOL-P001-R-Y0680-X0134.

Odyssey 8.492-495 calls the wooden Horse a dolos, says that Odysseus brought it into the citadel, and says that the men inside sacked Ilium. The screenplay compresses that stratagem into a trick that breaks Troy's walls; Homer does not state literal wall-breaking here.

AL300 — Suitors give food to the disguised Odysseus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/hospitality episode); transformation: compressed and redistributed. Greek target(s): 17.350-368. Context window(s): GW036.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P060-R-Y1373-X0054, NOL-P060-R-Y1422-X0055.

The suitors individually give or withhold food from the disguised Odysseus in Book 17; this is not evidence that they are consuming his estate.

AL301 — Odysseus admits that Trojan songs make him cry

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (emotional response/speech act); transformation: private admission replacing concealed tears. Greek target(s): 8.83-92, 8.521-534. Context window(s): GW018, GW019.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P064-L-Y1676-X0836, NOL-P064-L-Y1727-X0351.

Homer's Odysseus conceals his tears during Demodocus' Trojan songs; the screenplay makes the response an explicit admission to Penelope.

AL302 — Golden brooch or pin as Odysseus clothing token

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge), C (4 edges). Control proposal: B (object/recognition token); transformation: design and function transformed. Greek target(s): 19.225-235, 19.225-250. Context window(s): GW040.

Screenplay evidence: 5 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P049-R-Y1764-X0054, NOL-P049-R-Y2030-X0054, NOL-P063-L-Y0451-X0837, NOL-P063-L-Y0502-X0351, NOL-P071-L-Y1137-X0271, NOL-P071-L-Y1299-X0270, NOL-P071-L-Y1348-X0270.

Book 19 describes a gold brooch with a dog holding a fawn as part of Odysseus' clothing-token proof; Athena-and-vines imagery and later marital recognition remain departures.

Panel locus refinements: PA-END-RED-003 proposed 19.215-250 → accepted 19.225-235 (Only the gold brooch and its figured decoration at 19.225-235 support this object association; the rule's broader 19.215-250 range also includes Penelope's challenge and response.); PA-END-RED-004 proposed 19.215-250 → accepted 19.225-235 (The object association is limited to Homer's gold brooch description at 19.225-235; taking the pin to recover memory has no support in the remainder of the rule range.); PA-END-RED-005 proposed 19.215-250 → accepted 19.225-235 (The shared gold clasp and figured decoration are confined to 19.225-235; the surrounding challenge and recognition response do not support the substituted Athena-and-vines design.); PA-END-RED-006 proposed 19.215-250 → accepted 19.225-235 (The only Homeric support for the held gold token is the brooch description at 19.225-235; using it after the slaughter is not supported by the larger Book 19 exchange.); PA-END-RED-007 proposed 19.215-250 → accepted 19.225-250 (The brooch description and Penelope's recognition of the narrated clothing signs run through 19.225-250; the rule's 19.215 start includes the preceding challenge not enacted here.).

AL303 — Odysseus recognizes and lands on Ithaca

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (2 edges). Control proposal: B (landfall/recognition/divine transformation); transformation: compressed. Greek target(s): 13.324-352, 13.187-250, 13.429-438. Context window(s): GW030, GW029.

Screenplay evidence: 2 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P050-R-Y1029-X0620, NOL-P050-R-Y1080-X0134, NOL-P050-R-Y1161-X0053, NOL-P050-R-Y1190-X0054.

Book 13 gives the Phaeacian landfall, Athena's revelation of Ithaca, and her transformation of Odysseus; omission of Scheria remains a separate sequence-level departure.

Panel locus refinements: PA-END-RED-008 proposed 13.187-250,13.324-352,13.429-438 → accepted 13.324-352 (Odysseus' recognition that the land is Ithaca belongs specifically to Athena's disclosure at 13.324-352; the rule's landfall and disguise ranges support adjacent but different actions.); PA-END-RED-009 proposed 13.187-250,13.324-352,13.429-438 → accepted 13.187-250,13.429-438 (The screenplay combines the Ithacan shore arrival at 13.187-250 with Athena's old-man transformation at 13.429-438; the intervening recognition dialogue is not directly enacted in these evidence lines.).

AL304 — The Horse is left and admitted as an offering

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (object/action); transformation: offering description modified. Greek target(s): 8.504-510. Context window(s): GW019.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P065-L-Y0181-X0836, NOL-P065-L-Y0231-X0351.

The Odyssey says the Trojans debated whether to treat the Horse as an offering to the gods and ultimately preserved it; 'peace offering' is not Homer's formulation.

AL305 — One man's Trojan Horse trick

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (proposition/stratagem); transformation: compressed inside a non-Homeric causal thesis. Greek target(s): 8.492-495. Context window(s): GW019.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P065-R-Y2081-X0620, NOL-P065-R-Y2131-X0134.

Demodocus' song calls the Horse a stratagem made by Epeius with Athena and led into the acropolis by Odysseus; permanent xenia collapse is separately non-Homeric.

AL306 — Odysseus' easy mastery of his bow remembered

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (action/reputation); transformation: retrospective attribution with invented witness. Greek target(s): 21.404-411. Context window(s): GW044.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P067-L-Y2269-X0837, NOL-P067-L-Y2319-X0351.

Odysseus strings and sounds the bow with ease in Book 21; Antinous' claimed boyhood witnessing is not Homeric.

AL307 — First throat-shot transferred from Antinous to Polybus

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (combat action); transformation: victim transferred. Greek target(s): 22.8-21. Context window(s): GW045.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P069-R-Y2192-X0054.

Homer begins the slaughter with Odysseus shooting Antinous in the throat; the screenplay transfers that action to Polybus.

AL308 — Zeus' thunder sign relocated

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (divine sign/event); transformation: relocated. Greek target(s): 21.410-415. Context window(s): GW044.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P070-R-Y1674-X0053.

Zeus thunders as a sign immediately after Odysseus strings and sounds the bow; the screenplay moves the thunder until after the massacre.

AL309 — Telemachus and Mentor arrive amid a Pylian religious gathering

Panel-accepted strength(s): B (1 edge). Control proposal: B (arrival/religious assembly); transformation: beach sacrifice transformed into temple encampment. Greek target(s): 3.4-66. Context window(s): GW007.

Screenplay evidence: 1 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P053-R-Y1486-X0053, NOL-P053-R-Y1535-X0053, NOL-P053-R-Y1583-X0054, NOL-P053-R-Y1632-X0054.

Telemachus and Athena-Mentor arrive at Pylos during a mass sacrifice and are welcomed into the seated feast; temple guards and beggars are screenplay staging.

AL310 — Context inside the transformed Pylos religious visit

Panel-accepted strength(s): C (3 edges). Control proposal: C (episode context); transformation: religious setting radically restaged. Greek target(s): 3.4-66. Context window(s): GW007.

Screenplay evidence: 3 panel-accepted edge(s); exact evidence-line locator(s): NOL-P055-L-Y0495-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y0543-X0271, NOL-P055-L-Y0592-X0271, NOL-P055-L-Y1315-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y1364-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y1412-X0271, NOL-P056-L-Y0779-X0270.

Only Telemachus' and Mentor's presence in a Pylian religious assembly is Homeric; the cave temple, priesthood, guards, and rescue plot are not.

Explicit departures and non-Homeric material

DP001 — Sinon as named character, captive, corpse, or ghost

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P001-R-Y1274-X0054, NOL-P001-R-Y1355-X0053, NOL-P001-R-Y1662-X0054, NOL-P001-R-Y1884-X0054, NOL-P001-R-Y2023-X0650, NOL-P002-L-Y0139-X0270, NOL-P005-L-Y1785-X0271, NOL-P005-L-Y2040-X0271, NOL-P006-R-Y0987-X0054, NOL-P006-R-Y1431-X0054, NOL-P006-R-Y1718-X0135, NOL-P023-L-Y0139-X0269, NOL-P023-L-Y1197-X0351, NOL-P023-L-Y1467-X0869, NOL-P034-L-Y0504-X0837, NOL-P034-L-Y0555-X0351, NOL-P034-L-Y0636-X0270, NOL-P034-L-Y0684-X0270, NOL-P034-L-Y0775-X0836, NOL-P034-L-Y0826-X0351, NOL-P034-L-Y1366-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y1415-X0270, NOL-P034-L-Y1505-X0837, NOL-P034-L-Y1556-X0351, NOL-P034-L-Y1637-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y1728-X0867, NOL-P034-L-Y1778-X0351, NOL-P034-L-Y2150-X0271, NOL-P034-L-Y2199-X0270, NOL-P034-R-Y0139-X0053, NOL-P034-R-Y0229-X0652, NOL-P034-R-Y0280-X0134, NOL-P034-R-Y0501-X0054, NOL-P034-R-Y0550-X0053, NOL-P034-R-Y0641-X0652, NOL-P034-R-Y0687-X0134, NOL-P034-R-Y0962-X0054, NOL-P034-R-Y1011-X0054, NOL-P034-R-Y1313-X0053, NOL-P034-R-Y1404-X0652, NOL-P034-R-Y1454-X0134, NOL-P034-R-Y1626-X0652, NOL-P034-R-Y1672-X0136, NOL-P034-R-Y1848-X0652, NOL-P034-R-Y1898-X0134, NOL-P034-R-Y2130-X0652, NOL-P034-R-Y2180-X0134, NOL-P036-L-Y0224-X0271, NOL-P036-L-Y0315-X0867, NOL-P036-L-Y0365-X0350, NOL-P036-L-Y0414-X0351, NOL-P036-L-Y0645-X0867, NOL-P036-L-Y0696-X0351, NOL-P036-L-Y1247-X0867, NOL-P036-L-Y1297-X0351, NOL-P036-L-Y1345-X0350, NOL-P036-L-Y1567-X0271, NOL-P036-L-Y1658-X0867, NOL-P036-L-Y1708-X0350, NOL-P036-L-Y1757-X0350, NOL-P036-L-Y1989-X0867, NOL-P036-L-Y2039-X0351, NOL-P036-L-Y2087-X0351, NOL-P036-L-Y2320-X0867, NOL-P036-R-Y0371-X0650, NOL-P036-R-Y0421-X0134, NOL-P036-R-Y0653-X0651, NOL-P036-R-Y0703-X0135, NOL-P036-R-Y0925-X0054, NOL-P036-R-Y1016-X0650, NOL-P036-R-Y1066-X0134, NOL-P036-R-Y1114-X0134, NOL-P036-R-Y1346-X0650, NOL-P036-R-Y1396-X0135, NOL-P036-R-Y1445-X0134, NOL-P036-R-Y1526-X0054, NOL-P036-R-Y1617-X0651, NOL-P036-R-Y1667-X0135, NOL-P036-R-Y1980-X0651, NOL-P036-R-Y2030-X0135, NOL-P036-R-Y2252-X0054, NOL-P036-R-Y2300-X0054, NOL-P039-R-Y0892-X0639, NOL-P039-R-Y0934-X0134, NOL-P056-L-Y1968-X0836, NOL-P056-L-Y2018-X0350, NOL-P062-L-Y0652-X0837, NOL-P062-L-Y0703-X0351, NOL-P070-R-Y1045-X0620, NOL-P070-R-Y1096-X0572, NOL-P070-R-Y1144-X0134.

Sinon is not named in the Odyssey; the horse is narrated, but this character biography and ghost role have no specific Odyssey locus.

DP002 — Iphigenia sacrifice or motive

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P007-R-Y0971-X0625, NOL-P007-R-Y1022-X0134.

The historiographic category has no specific passage in the Odyssey.

DP004 — Bronze Age collapse or civilizational chronology

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P066-L-Y0451-X0837, NOL-P066-L-Y0501-X0351, NOL-P066-L-Y0550-X0351, NOL-P066-L-Y0599-X0351.

This modern historical frame is not an Odyssey passage.

The screenplay's recruitment mechanism has no specific Odyssey association.

DP007 — Antinous as Telemachus' childhood companion

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P003-L-Y1920-X0837, NOL-P003-L-Y1969-X0350, NOL-P003-L-Y2018-X0350, NOL-P005-L-Y1991-X0271, NOL-P005-L-Y2040-X0271, NOL-P005-L-Y2088-X0271, NOL-P005-L-Y2149-X0270, NOL-P006-R-Y1934-X0553, NOL-P006-R-Y1988-X0134, NOL-P038-R-Y2299-X0620, NOL-P038-R-Y2349-X0134, NOL-P067-L-Y2269-X0837, NOL-P067-L-Y2319-X0351.

The Odyssey does not give Antinous this shared childhood biography.

DP008 — Eumaeus is blind or martial trainer

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P052-L-Y2159-X0837, NOL-P052-L-Y2201-X0351, NOL-P051-R-Y1563-X0054.

Homer's Eumaeus is not blind and is not presented as Telemachus' combat instructor.

DP009 — Lotus and forgetting relocated to Calypso's cave

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P014-L-Y1697-X0849, NOL-P014-L-Y1748-X0351, NOL-P049-L-Y0139-X0271, NOL-P049-L-Y0229-X0849, NOL-P049-L-Y0279-X0874, NOL-P049-L-Y0328-X0351, NOL-P049-L-Y0377-X0350, NOL-P049-R-Y0971-X0632, NOL-P049-R-Y1022-X0134, NOL-P049-R-Y1070-X0134.

This fuses Calypso with the Lotus-eaters. Some scenes may show supply or administration, but a line that only mentions lotus or memory does not by itself prove that Calypso drugged Odysseus.

DP010 — Athena physically visits Calypso instead of Hermes

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P013-L-Y0635-X0270, NOL-P013-L-Y2303-X0271, NOL-P013-R-Y0629-X0620, NOL-P013-R-Y0680-X0134.

In Odyssey 5 Zeus sends Hermes to Calypso; Athena argues in Olympus but does not enact this screenplay encounter. A recollection of prayer to Athena is excluded.

DP011 — Cyclops episode omits or contradicts Nobody/wine mechanics

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P021-L-Y0673-X0271, NOL-P021-L-Y0721-X0271.

Homer uses wine and the Nobody-name ruse before the stake; premature naming or arrow mechanics are screenplay changes.

DP012 — Elpenor placed in the Cyclops episode, including his death

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P019-L-Y0402-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0451-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y0499-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y0548-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y0596-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0645-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y0694-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0742-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0823-X0271, NOL-P019-L-Y0872-X0270, NOL-P019-L-Y0920-X0270, NOL-P018-L-Y1963-X0271, NOL-P018-L-Y2053-X0849, NOL-P018-L-Y2104-X0351, NOL-P018-R-Y1590-X0054, NOL-P018-R-Y1681-X0632, NOL-P018-R-Y1731-X0135, NOL-P018-R-Y1963-X0632, NOL-P018-R-Y2013-X0135, NOL-P019-L-Y2203-X0271, NOL-P019-R-Y0694-X0054, NOL-P021-R-Y1949-X0054.

Homer leaves the Cyclops companions unnamed, then has Elpenor die by falling from Circe's roof at 10.552-560. A pre-death name mention establishes screenplay placement, not by itself a relocated death; actual death/body evidence supplies the stronger contrast.

DP013 — Helen has a facial scar or disfigurement

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P024-R-Y0730-X0055, NOL-P024-R-Y0779-X0054.

No such identifying feature occurs in the Odyssey's Spartan recognition scene.

DP015 — Circe turns a companion into a crow

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P028-R-Y1521-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y1570-X0053, NOL-P028-R-Y1626-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y1699-X0053, NOL-P028-R-Y1748-X0054, NOL-P028-R-Y1796-X0054, NOL-P030-L-Y2235-X0270, NOL-P030-L-Y2292-X0271, NOL-P029-L-Y1308-X0270, NOL-P031-L-Y1944-X0271, NOL-P031-L-Y1993-X0271, NOL-P031-R-Y2034-X0054, NOL-P031-R-Y2083-X0053, NOL-P032-R-Y0270-X0054, NOL-P032-R-Y0319-X0054, NOL-P032-R-Y0367-X0053, NOL-P032-R-Y1243-X0054, NOL-P032-R-Y1547-X0054, NOL-P032-R-Y1595-X0053, NOL-P032-R-Y1827-X0620, NOL-P032-R-Y1877-X0134, NOL-P032-R-Y1925-X0134, NOL-P032-R-Y2229-X0054, NOL-P033-L-Y1361-X0271, NOL-P033-L-Y1866-X0271, NOL-P033-L-Y2088-X0271, NOL-P033-L-Y2136-X0271, NOL-P033-L-Y2185-X0271, NOL-P033-R-Y1576-X0054.

Homer's transformed companions are swine; the crow hostage is not in the poem.

DP017 — Pylos temple battle and rescue

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P054-L-Y1230-X0271, NOL-P054-L-Y1764-X0271, NOL-P054-L-Y1812-X0270, NOL-P054-L-Y1861-X0270, NOL-P054-L-Y1910-X0270, NOL-P054-R-Y2217-X0620, NOL-P054-R-Y2268-X0134, NOL-P056-L-Y0418-X0271.

Telemachus does visit Pylos in Odyssey 3, but no cave-temple ambush, poisoning, burning, or paternal rescue occurs there.

DP019 — Cattle identified as Apollo's

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P046-L-Y0926-X0271, NOL-P046-R-Y2042-X0054, NOL-P047-L-Y0775-X0271, NOL-P047-L-Y1055-X0271.

The cattle belong to Helios in Odyssey 12.

DP021 — Golden pin as invented memory or recognition token

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P049-R-Y1764-X0054, NOL-P049-R-Y2030-X0054, NOL-P071-L-Y1137-X0271, NOL-P071-L-Y1299-X0270, NOL-P071-L-Y1348-X0270.

The decisive Homeric token is knowledge of the olive-tree bed, not a pin; its use to restore memory is also screenplay invention.

DP022 — Polybus killed before Antinous

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P069-R-Y2192-X0054.

Homer kills Antinous first at 22.8-21; delaying him reverses the sequence.

DP023 — Surviving suitors kneel or receive mercy

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P070-R-Y2203-X0053, NOL-P070-R-Y2252-X0053.

All suitors are killed in Odyssey 22; Phemius and Medon are spared because they are not suitors.

DP024 — Odysseus immediately exiled or sails west after recognition

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P070-R-Y1045-X0620, NOL-P070-R-Y1096-X0572, NOL-P070-R-Y1144-X0134, NOL-P071-R-Y0139-X0134.

Tiresias predicts a later inland oar-journey; Odyssey 24 ends with peace in Ithaca, not this voyage.

DP025 — Telemachus becomes king as Odysseus departs

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P071-L-Y0587-X0269, NOL-P071-L-Y0636-X0269, NOL-P071-L-Y0879-X0269, NOL-P071-L-Y0927-X0269, NOL-P071-L-Y0976-X0270, NOL-P071-R-Y0521-X0620, NOL-P071-R-Y0571-X0134, NOL-P071-R-Y0620-X0134.

No such succession scene occurs in the 24-book Odyssey.

DP026 — Penelope herself travels west

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P071-L-Y0879-X0269, NOL-P071-L-Y0927-X0269, NOL-P071-L-Y0976-X0270, NOL-P071-R-Y0296-X0053, NOL-P071-R-Y0349-X0054, NOL-P071-R-Y1375-X0053, NOL-P071-R-Y1424-X0053.

The Odyssey ends with Penelope and Odysseus reunited on Ithaca.

DP027 — Horse burned after the homecoming

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P072-L-Y0361-X0272, NOL-P072-L-Y0409-X0271.

No such post-return ritual appears in the Odyssey.

DP028 — Ithacan elders impose the marriage deadline

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P008-R-Y0499-X0618, NOL-P008-R-Y0546-X0135, NOL-P008-R-Y0599-X0135.

The shroud stratagem is Homeric, but this institutional decree is not specified in the poem.

DP030 — Modern archaeological or historical exposition

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P007-L-Y0181-X0812, NOL-P007-L-Y0231-X0351, NOL-P058-L-Y2009-X0835, NOL-P058-L-Y2060-X0351, NOL-P071-L-Y0407-X0842, NOL-P071-L-Y0457-X0874, NOL-P071-L-Y0506-X0350, NOL-P071-R-Y1878-X0619, NOL-P071-R-Y1928-X0135.

Modern explanatory framing is not itself a Homeric passage, even when attached to Homeric characters.

DP031 — Antiphates name-and-role contrast: king versus crewman

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P014-R-Y1960-X0054, NOL-P015-L-Y0322-X0821, NOL-P015-L-Y0372-X0350, NOL-P018-R-Y0814-X0604, NOL-P018-R-Y0865-X0135, NOL-P029-R-Y0876-X0054, NOL-P029-R-Y1098-X0053, NOL-P029-R-Y1185-X0604, NOL-P029-R-Y1239-X0134, NOL-P029-R-Y1471-X0604, NOL-P029-R-Y1523-X0134, NOL-P029-R-Y1824-X0054, NOL-P029-R-Y1872-X0054, NOL-P044-R-Y1507-X0054, NOL-P044-R-Y1598-X0605, NOL-P044-R-Y1648-X0134.

The screenplay uses Antiphates for a crewman; Odyssey 10 uses the name for the cannibal Laestrygonian king. This establishes a name/role contrast, not that the two works intend an identical character reassigned.

DP032 — Phemius name-and-role contrast: bard versus crewman

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P019-R-Y0421-X0622, NOL-P019-R-Y0472-X0134.

The screenplay uses Phemius for a voyager; Homer's Phemius is the Ithacan singer. This may be name reuse rather than a demonstrably identical character reassigned.

DP033 — Anchialus reassigned and killed at the Sirens

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P044-L-Y0138-X0269, NOL-P044-L-Y0490-X0269, NOL-P044-L-Y0538-X0271.

Anchialus is a Phaeacian name at Odyssey 8.112, not a member of Odysseus' crew; no companion dies at the Sirens in Homer.

DP034 — Polites named among Scylla's six victims

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P045-L-Y2004-X0270.

The six victims are unnamed in Odyssey 12; assigning Polites to them is a screenplay choice.

DP035 — Athena appears on Thrinacia

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P047-L-Y0447-X0271, NOL-P047-L-Y0499-X0271, NOL-P047-L-Y0580-X0271, NOL-P047-L-Y0629-X0271, NOL-P047-R-Y0139-X0054, NOL-P047-R-Y0229-X0639, NOL-P047-R-Y0280-X0135, NOL-P047-R-Y0511-X0639, NOL-P047-R-Y0562-X0134, NOL-P047-R-Y0643-X0054, NOL-P047-R-Y0692-X0053, NOL-P047-R-Y0782-X0639, NOL-P047-R-Y0833-X0134, NOL-P047-R-Y1145-X0638, NOL-P047-R-Y1195-X0134, NOL-P047-R-Y1427-X0638, NOL-P047-R-Y1477-X0134, NOL-P047-R-Y1526-X0134, NOL-P047-R-Y1877-X0054.

Athena does not appear to Odysseus on Thrinacia; Homer has Odysseus pray apart and the gods send sleep.

DP038 — Cretan trader cover at Sparta

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P020-R-Y0925-X0634, NOL-P020-R-Y0971-X0134.

Telemachus and Pisistratus arrive openly by chariot; no matching Cretan-trader cover occurs at Sparta. Mentes' trader cover and Odysseus' later Cretan tales are only distant analogues.

DP040 — Scylla-Charybdis choice assigned to Eurylochus

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P044-R-Y1729-X0054, NOL-P044-R-Y1820-X0601, NOL-P044-R-Y1870-X0134, NOL-P045-L-Y0322-X0817, NOL-P045-L-Y0372-X0351.

Homer has Odysseus direct the helmsman toward Scylla and conceal the danger; the screenplay redistributes the choice.

DP042 — Agamemnon murdered in bath or bed with chin-stab

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P037-L-Y1747-X0271, NOL-P037-L-Y1796-X0271, NOL-P037-L-Y1976-X0807, NOL-P037-L-Y2018-X0874, NOL-P037-L-Y2067-X0351, NOL-P037-L-Y2213-X0271, NOL-P037-R-Y0777-X0053.

The Odyssey compares the murder at a feast to killing an ox at a manger; this bath/bed/chin-stab staging is not its narrated mechanism.

DP043 — Orestes' matricide made explicit

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P042-L-Y0923-X0812, NOL-P042-L-Y0973-X0839, NOL-P042-L-Y1022-X0351.

Odyssey 3.306-310 explicitly says Orestes killed Aegisthus and then held funerals for Aegisthus and his mother. It presents Orestes as avenger but does not state that he killed Clytemnestra; the screenplay's explicit matricide is an N1 sharpening inside that anchored revenge complex.

DP045 — Boar scar moved from above the knee to the ankle

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P064-R-Y1579-X0054, NOL-P064-R-Y1627-X0054.

Odyssey 19.450 places the wound above the knee; the screenplay locates the recognition scar at the ankle.

DP046 — Leodes attacks and is stabbed with an arrow

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P068-R-Y1373-X0054, NOL-P068-R-Y1422-X0052, NOL-P068-R-Y1470-X0054, NOL-P068-R-Y1519-X0052.

Homer's Leodes pleads and is beheaded with a sword at 22.310-329.

DP047 — Thunder relocated to after the massacre

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P070-R-Y1674-X0053.

The hall thunder at 21.413 accompanies bow-stringing; Zeus's later thunderbolt at 24.539-544 ends the family battle, not the suitor massacre.

DP048 — Horse described as an offering of peace

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P065-L-Y0181-X0836, NOL-P065-L-Y0231-X0351.

The Odyssey calls the Horse a trick and reports Trojan debate over treating it as a divine offering; it does not make it a peace offering.

DP049 — Horse made the cause of permanent xenia collapse

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P065-R-Y2081-X0620, NOL-P065-R-Y2131-X0134.

The causal thesis Horse to broken xenia to Sea Peoples/Bronze-Age collapse is not made in the Odyssey.

DP051 — Direct and immediate Penelope recognition

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P071-L-Y1600-X0835, NOL-P071-L-Y1651-X0351.

Homer's Penelope remains cautious until the olive-tree bed test; immediate pin-based recognition compresses and replaces that test.

DP052 — Songs preserve those who could write

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P071-R-Y1656-X0620, NOL-P071-R-Y1706-X0135.

This literacy-and-memory thesis has no specific Odyssey locus.

DP200 — Laestrygonian forest, snow, and constricting-tree combat staging

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P026-L-Y2095-X0271, NOL-P026-R-Y0139-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y0224-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y0277-X0053, NOL-P026-R-Y0419-X0054, NOL-P027-L-Y0705-X0271, NOL-P027-L-Y0754-X0270, NOL-P027-L-Y0802-X0269, NOL-P027-L-Y0851-X0270, NOL-P027-L-Y0900-X0269.

Odyssey 10.80-132 stages the Laestrygonian encounter at a harbor, road, spring, and city; snow, a dense forest, magically constricting trunks, and forest combat are screenplay additions.

DP201 — Antiphates' daughter recast as a child-faced armored monster

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P026-R-Y1077-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y1239-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y1764-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y1855-X0620, NOL-P026-R-Y1905-X0135, NOL-P026-R-Y1986-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y2127-X0134, NOL-P026-R-Y2208-X0054, NOL-P026-R-Y2298-X0600, NOL-P026-R-Y2349-X0134, NOL-P027-L-Y0139-X0270, NOL-P027-L-Y0219-X0271, NOL-P027-L-Y0268-X0269.

Odyssey 10.105-106 explicitly includes Antiphates' daughter. The departure is her transformation into a giggling, screaming, child-faced monster within a forest pursuit—not the false claim that Homer has no child or daughter.

DP202 — Sinon inserted as the first named shade before Elpenor

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P034-L-Y0504-X0837, NOL-P034-L-Y0555-X0351, NOL-P034-L-Y0636-X0270, NOL-P034-L-Y0684-X0270, NOL-P034-L-Y0775-X0836, NOL-P034-L-Y0826-X0351.

Odyssey 11.51-83 first singles out Elpenor; the screenplay inserts non-Homeric Sinon into that encounter position. It later names Elpenor too, so this is insertion, not wholesale replacement. A repeated later address is not auto-promoted.

DP203 — Elpenor's unburied appeal inverted as Sinon's thanks for burial

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P036-R-Y1016-X0650, NOL-P036-R-Y1066-X0134, NOL-P036-R-Y1114-X0134.

Elpenor asks Odysseus for burial at 11.51-83. Sinon instead thanks him for an already completed burial and redirects the appeal to plural others.

DP204 — Tiresias' inland-oar journey reassigned to Sinon and sent west by sea

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P036-R-Y1346-X0650, NOL-P036-R-Y1396-X0135, NOL-P036-R-Y1445-X0134.

Odyssey 11.121-137 has Tiresias prescribe a later inland journey carrying an oar. The screenplay gives Sinon a westward voyage by ship and alters the sacrifices' framing.

DP205 — Eurylochus enters Circe's house and is transformed

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P030-L-Y0139-X0271, NOL-P030-L-Y0948-X0817, NOL-P030-L-Y0999-X0351, NOL-P030-L-Y1311-X0817, NOL-P030-L-Y1362-X0351, NOL-P030-R-Y1375-X0054, NOL-P029-L-Y0224-X0271, NOL-P029-L-Y1179-X0271, NOL-P029-L-Y1228-X0270, NOL-P029-L-Y1900-X0271, NOL-P029-L-Y1949-X0269, NOL-P029-L-Y2208-X0271, NOL-P029-L-Y2257-X0270.

Odyssey 10.232-260 keeps Eurylochus outside Circe's house and untransformed so he can warn Odysseus. The screenplay makes him enter, eat, and undergo the pig transformation; broad co-occurrence of both names is not enough for automatic promotion.

DP206 — Literal fire-and-ice geography added to Hades

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P035-L-Y1708-X0270, NOL-P035-L-Y1757-X0269, NOL-P035-L-Y1998-X0874, NOL-P035-L-Y2048-X0352, NOL-P035-R-Y0134-X0054, NOL-P035-R-Y0187-X0054.

Odyssey 10.508-515 names underworld rivers and their confluence but does not turn them into volcanic lava, glacier, steaming sea, obsidian beach, or dead-tree geography.

DP207 — Iphigenia sacrifice made the visual motive for Clytemnestra's murder

Typed status: N2. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P037-R-Y0237-X0590, NOL-P037-R-Y0279-X0658, NOL-P037-R-Y0328-X0134, NOL-P037-R-Y0409-X0054, NOL-P037-R-Y0458-X0054.

The 24-book Odyssey does not name or narrate Iphigenia's sacrifice as Clytemnestra's motive; the screenplay imports and visualizes wider Trojan-cycle tradition.

DP208 — Calypso administers lotus to induce sleep and suppress memory

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P038-L-Y0229-X0849, NOL-P038-L-Y0282-X0351, NOL-P038-L-Y0361-X0271, NOL-P038-L-Y0451-X0837, NOL-P038-L-Y0502-X0350, NOL-P038-L-Y0592-X0849, NOL-P038-L-Y0643-X0350, NOL-P038-L-Y0691-X0351, NOL-P038-L-Y0772-X0271.

The screenplay fuses Calypso with the Lotus-eaters by having her offer lotus to quiet Odysseus and defer memory; no Calypso scene in the Odyssey supplies this administration.

DP209 — Melantho paired with Antinous instead of Eurymachus

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P038-R-Y1325-X0053, NOL-P040-R-Y0652-X0054, NOL-P040-R-Y0700-X0054, NOL-P040-R-Y0791-X0614, NOL-P040-R-Y0842-X0135.

Odyssey 18.320-325 associates Melantho sexually with Eurymachus. The screenplay instead gives her an intimate and conspiratorial relationship with Antinous.

DP210 — Telemachus ambush relocated to Pylos road, temple, and bandits

The Odyssey's suitor plan is a maritime interception. A Pylos-road killing, bandits, seizure of a temple, and displacement of priests are screenplay mechanics.

DP211 — Telemachus' nose and ears demanded as proof of murder

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P041-R-Y0902-X0621, NOL-P041-R-Y0953-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y1001-X0134, NOL-P041-R-Y1203-X0621, NOL-P041-R-Y1283-X0135.

No Odyssey ambush plan demands Telemachus' severed nose or ears as proof; this mutilation order is screenplay invention inside the anchored suitor plot. A follow-up question about recognition is not separately auto-promoted.

DP212 — Sirens' song personalized as Odysseus' frustrated desires and failures

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P043-R-Y2111-X0625, NOL-P043-R-Y2161-X0657, NOL-P043-R-Y2210-X0134, NOL-P044-L-Y0310-X0842, NOL-P044-L-Y0360-X0874, NOL-P044-L-Y0409-X0350, NOL-P044-L-Y0759-X0842, NOL-P044-L-Y0858-X0350, NOL-P044-L-Y1029-X0842, NOL-P044-L-Y1079-X0874, NOL-P044-L-Y1128-X0350, NOL-P044-L-Y1348-X0842, NOL-P044-L-Y1398-X0874, NOL-P044-L-Y1447-X0350, NOL-P044-L-Y1496-X0351, NOL-P044-L-Y1878-X0842, NOL-P044-L-Y1928-X0874, NOL-P044-L-Y1976-X0350, NOL-P044-L-Y2196-X0837, NOL-P044-L-Y2247-X0350.

Odyssey 12.184-191 gives the Sirens a promise of knowledge about Troy and the world. The screenplay replaces that content with individualized desire, regret, failed promises, and aversion to home.

DP213 — Odysseus chooses Charybdis and Eurylochus redirects the ship

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P045-L-Y0181-X0836, NOL-P045-L-Y0231-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0592-X0837, NOL-P045-L-Y0643-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0691-X0350, NOL-P045-L-Y0863-X0817, NOL-P045-L-Y0914-X0351, NOL-P045-L-Y0961-X0800, NOL-P045-L-Y1010-X0351, NOL-P045-R-Y1769-X0620, NOL-P045-R-Y1819-X0135.

Odyssey 12.217-225 has Odysseus steer away from Charybdis toward Scylla after Circe's warning. The screenplay initially gives him the Charybdis choice and makes Eurylochus reverse it.

DP214 — Falling mast kills Eurylochus instead of the helmsman

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P048-L-Y1690-X0271, NOL-P048-L-Y1738-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1787-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1835-X0270, NOL-P048-L-Y1884-X0269.

At Odyssey 12.409-414 the falling mast gear strikes and kills the helmsman. The screenplay transfers the mast death to Eurylochus.

DP300 — Calypso happiness and homeward desire reversed

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P049-L-Y1711-X0849, NOL-P049-L-Y1762-X0351, NOL-P049-L-Y1993-X0849, NOL-P049-L-Y2043-X0353, NOL-P049-R-Y0971-X0632, NOL-P049-R-Y1022-X0134, NOL-P049-R-Y1070-X0134.

Homer repeatedly presents Odysseus weeping for home and refusing Calypso's offer; the screenplay makes him happy with her and psychologically unready to return.

DP301 — Odysseus denies fatherhood after Telemachus recognizes him

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P060-L-Y1004-X0836, NOL-P060-L-Y1050-X0350, NOL-P060-L-Y1103-X0351.

In Odyssey 16 Odysseus confirms his identity and embraces Telemachus after disbelief; the screenplay has him continue the beggar fiction after Telemachus identifies him.

DP302 — Calypso-raft sequence cuts directly to Ithaca and omits Scheria

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P050-R-Y1161-X0053, NOL-P050-R-Y1190-X0054.

As the endpoint of the continuous Calypso and raft sequence, this Ithacan shore arrival omits the Phaeacian books and transport from Scheria; the landing line itself still has a positive Book 13 association.

DP303 — Gold brooch design replaced by Athena encircled by vines

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P063-L-Y0451-X0837, NOL-P063-L-Y0502-X0351.

Odyssey 19.225-235 describes a gold brooch showing a dog holding a struggling fawn, not Athena encircled by vines.

DP304 — Pylos religious visit restaged as a guarded cave-temple complex

Typed status: N1. Screenplay locator(s): NOL-P053-R-Y0747-X0054, NOL-P053-R-Y1402-X0054, NOL-P053-R-Y1486-X0053, NOL-P053-R-Y1535-X0053, NOL-P053-R-Y1583-X0054, NOL-P053-R-Y1632-X0054, NOL-P055-L-Y0139-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y0495-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y0543-X0271, NOL-P055-L-Y0592-X0271, NOL-P055-L-Y1231-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y1315-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y1364-X0270, NOL-P055-L-Y1412-X0271, NOL-P054-L-Y1145-X0270, NOL-P054-L-Y1376-X0270, NOL-P056-L-Y0334-X0270, NOL-P056-L-Y0694-X0271, NOL-P056-L-Y0779-X0270.

Telemachus and Athena-Mentor do visit a mass religious gathering at Pylos in Odyssey 3, but its conversion into a guarded cave temple with tunnels, sancta, pilgrims, and priests is invented scene detail. Actual ambush, poisoning, killing, burning, and rescue remain N2 under DP017.

Large-scale adaptation architecture

Odyssey material absent or heavily compressed

The reverse concordance shows no strong retained episode for most of Book 3's Nestor/Pylos visit, the Aeolus episode (10.1–79), the Laestrygonian approach details beyond the attack, the full Phaeacian arc (Books 6–8 apart from embedded Horse song), much of the catalogue of dead in Book 11, the Laertes recognition of Book 24, and Athena's final peace settlement. Absence here is screenplay-capture evidence under the bounded rules, not a claim about drafts or production versions outside the supplied PDF.
